Hello,

i am currently planning my leman russ's and i really liked this conversion, but unfortunetly the modern leman russ models do not have the wheels, so i am wondering does anyone know if any replacements i could use instead? or a reliable way to find the wheels? i will be making minimum of 3 leman russes so i will need a decent amount of wheels.

Usually painted lego wheels work on 40k tanks?

1400 points of EW/MW Italians (FoW)
2200 points of SoB and Inquisition (40K)
1000 points of orks (40K)
Just starting out with Ultramarines (30K)
Four 1000-2500 point forces for WHFB (RIP)
One orc team (Blood Bowl)

Your best bet might be to buy a full airfix (other model manufacturers are available) kit. That way you'd get all the wheels you need plus the tracks to match them.

Alternatively you could probably make your own relatively easily with some plastic tube and a GS press mould.

If he used the wheels in the 2nd link, it's be $66 USD per tank! Ouch!

Ahem.

You could use a Panzer IV from this website as a base. That's pretty much is a Panzer IV made with Leman Russ parts.

Try one of these? I'm using one as a base for a wyvern conversion. The turret is going on a chimera as a storm pattern.
