Oh boy, so the plastic Wracks are true! As is a new Haemonculus miniature, it seems. As I'm more of a Kabal guy, though, I'm hoping for a sexy Vect + Dais kit.

5 Wracks in a box, 29 eur. 11 different heads inside. Its not a dual kit.
This one is interesting. There are bits in the box that allow you to replace the crew of Raiders and Venoms for Wrack pilots and gunners!
Plastic Wracks look almost indentical to the Finecast ones.
New Haemy is 20 eur, looks like a cross between Urien (he has a syringe) and the old Haemy.
I like that those Wracks are almost identical to the Finecast ones. They'll mix well into existing units that players already have with no real issues--and leave it so that if people want to get the new ones just for splitting into units they already have, and have the new ones packed with special weapons.
Yup. Codex #2 that has been updated twice before BA. Im literally playing with a codex containing meaningless pages for another 2-6 months now. Everyone else who lost psy powers got updated immediately. Why does GW continue to blow off the legions of BA fans out there?

To be fair, they got their first codex in 12 years a few months after Blood Angels were most recently updated. This time, the reverse, minus 8-9 years, is highly likely.
It's hard to tell, but the new Haemy looks like Zoog from Angelspit. And I don't just mean the hair, but in the face as well.

Theyre already packed up in my closet at the moment. I want to buy new stuff for them but there is no point. Libby dreads? More sang guard? More death co? Another raven? Nope. Revenue lost by them, especially since im basically done with my crimson fists. I bet there are 10,000 other players with the same mindset.
I'm a coven player, so getting a bit more flesh-shaper love would be awesome.

Ironic, considering not too long ago Dark Eldar players watched Space Marines get updated again and again, with DA, BT, SW and BA (both a White Dwarf 'dex and a "real" 'dex) all coming out in addition to that (also multiple times each), while they were stuck with their original gakky codex from 1998 that only had like 3 worthwhile units in the entire book to build an army with for well over a decade, and a model line that looked like crap even when it was brand new, and sure as hell didn't get any better with age. And Dark Eldar players got snapped at often, not surprisingly by a majority of Space Marine fanboys, who would endlessly make excuses as to why GW had abandoned them for so long and constantly try to shut up the "whiners" once and for all.
BA haven't had to wait even half as long as DE players did for their big update and you're taking it way harder than I ever saw any DE fan in their situation. And what's funnier is that MrFlutterPie could very well be right and BA could be the next codex up after DE, but because they dared to update someone who arguably needed it more (since DE can't just be fielded with one of more than half a dozen other codices with almost exactly the same models in the meantime), you're calling it quits right now and can't possibly wait another month or two.
I mean it's whatever you want to do really, but I can't help but feel like it's just a little bit of an overreaction. It tickles me though watching Marine players whine, because for so long I've had to endure their whole "Space Marines are popular, just deal with it!" bullgak spiel every time I watched another power armor codex and model release come out ahead of the many ailing xenos books, and now that things are working the other way around with xenos getting just as much love as they did for so long, the waiting is just unbearable for them. Karma's a bitch I guess.
And "love" is also highly debatable, at that. With things as they are now you're just as likely to get fethed over by a codex update as you are to benefit from it. So even if BAdid come out now there's a good chance you'd be selling that 5k of models anyway because you didn't get worthwhile changes or buffs to make the army perform to your liking.

I mean to be fair xenos players did it quite often in Marine threads, but come on, it is so vastly different compared to what's happening to Marine players now that to try and complain about it is just kinda funny to me.
Oh, so your BA are like 5 years old or some gak and have useless stuff in their codex? Welcome to almost literally every xeno player before they got a 6th edition update...and in some cases even after. In this case it's especially irksome because we're talking about an army getting attention, that before 2010 had been ignored since fething 3rd edition, which has largely been ignored ever since that big release and has had plenty of issues trying to stay relevant itself ever since Grey Knights came out in 5th, just months after them...except for literally one popular tournament list that ran tons of beast units with allied Eldar in 6th, which was really only "competitive" because of the Eldar element to begin with.
Like I said though, I'm sure BA are coming out soon, there's been as much talk about them as DE so it can't be that far off. But there's really no guarantee anymore that a codex update is a good thing anyway, and that goes for the DE update that's coming, too. So if you're willing to sell your army because of bad rules then you might as well go ahead and do it now because they'll probably still be bad after the fact. Or you might get lucky and get an Eldar-tier codex, who knows.
As for the leaked DE models, I think they look alright but if a box of 5 plastic wracks is really $30 then that's still kind of steep for a troop unit. At least they're not Finecast garbage anymore, so they do have that going for them.

It's not the whining, but the fact your doing it in a DE rumor thread. Literally one of the most neglected armies in 40k, arguably ranked only just behind sisters.

Your tears are delicious. And like others have pointed out, it's not like you'll have to wait long. BA should be out in January by the latest. But if you want to completely overreact and sell your toys, more power to you.
Yeah, watching Marine players complain about not getting an update is pretty silly. Besides, y'all should be careful what you wish for. Just ask any GK player how much they like their leaner and "new" Diet Codex.

Gw have given them the Sternguard treatment is all, wracks aren't troops unless you take a haemy, so one of the big wigs will have decided "nah, small box unit, extra bits, high price".
It's kind of crazy how their release schedule has killed these rumour threads. Back when the Tyranid book dropped there was almost a hundred posts before the pics of the models hit the web and several large rumour posts floating around before that. This release (and the last two, SW and GK) is so lukewarm it is striking.
It's intellectually dishonest to go on a multi-paragraph rant about Space Marines and then end your post with a condemnation for not being on-topic, and it's equally dishonest to condone such a post.
