Cool, it looks closer to the Tim Burton batmobile.

Or, y'know, get it on PC where it will look and run considerably better.
For many the costs of a PC that can run a game at next-gen console quality is farther out of reach than a next-gen console...
I think I'm pre-ordering for PC personally. While I prefer to play the games on console (I like the control scheme), I dont presently have a PS4, nor do I know when I will have a PS4.

Scarecrow. All the "city of fear" stuff was probably a giveaway, plus they've already said that Gotham is being evacuated because of the Scarecrow's threats.

Yeah, they all look like cutscenes rather than gameplay.
Still, I like the artistic design at least.

We live in the land of bullshots and marketing material that outright lies to us (hello Watch_Dogs!), but everything in that trailer matches up with the gameplay previews that a number of sites have talked about. Yeah, a lot of it is from the cutscenes, or fancy camera angles on scripted events, but it is technically still gameplay.
Which "number of sites" are we talking about? I can't just swallow it as bona fide gameplay on that kind of line.
And don't get me wrong, I have -loved- the Arkham game series so far, and I want this one to keep living up to the standards of its predecessors. However, it bugs me when a 'gameplay' trailer shows nothing that could reasonably called gameplay.

Space, price and the fact I hate gaming on computers rules that out. It's a choice between the xbone for Halo and Titanfall or the PS4 for Battlefront.

Can we please let that meme die already? It stopped being funny years ago.

Scarecrow has threatened to unleash a massive dose of his fear toxin on the city. This leads to the evacuation that some of the scenes show, as the citizens of Gotham flee the city (which will no doubt explain why, once again, you're wandering through a city that seems to only have criminals running around). Above and beyond that, there's a new apparently original character, the titular "Arkham Knight", who will be an antagonist. Aside from the pictures we've seen (above the waist, he looks like a cross between Batman and Iron Man; he's got cloth pants on, though), nothing is known about him. And the pre-order bonus this time is Harley Quin missions, presumably non-story missions like the Deathstroke pre-order missions in Arkham Origins.

Anyone that saw the demo Rocksteady showed. Basically everything they talked about in their preview (sans the stuff with Scarecrow) is in that trailer, one way or another.
I thought the guy at the end was Deathstroke, but his mask has two eyes. It might well be Hush after the Arkham City side mission in which he made himself look like Bruce Wayne.
Just because some people prefer the PC doesn't mean it's "OMGWTFBBQ PEE SEE MAZTAH RESS HERPADERPADERP"..

Rocksteady keeps saying that it's a new character.
The burning pits of Hades, also known as Sweden in summer
I see you still have strawman issues, Melly.
On topic, I am not sure of what to make of the Arkham Knight. I can't even judge if he is interesting enough to keep an eye out for yet. But he does look good.

Indeed...however they're also slightly cagey, saying that it is "the Arkham Knight" who is the new character.
Gaming computer and PS4 owner checking in. I like them both equally, for different reasons, some people don't have access to their PC all the time. Also, difference in graphics from PC to console is significantly less noticeable when it's only on next-gen consoles, and not on last-gen.
That said, holy balls, gameplay looks nice. I've got to get through the rest of City and start/finish Origins. It should be manageable by October.
Kingdom Death Fanatic. Dark Eldar: Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Dark Elves: Allegiance to the Black Crown. Also, Masons, Cygnar, and Legion of Everblight. All unnamed.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.
