Yes the SG's seem meh so far. I do like that they are knocking out the dice bag and alternate sculpts first. Bringing out the Other Sins as SG's will drive the pledges higher as opposed to intermittent lulls in pledges when they space out the Fake SG's.

I can't help but wonder if a later goal will be to make the tiles double sided as currently there is no mention of what is on the other side of the (soon to be) 12 city tiles. In the zombicide campaigns they have explicitly stated that the city tiles are double sided

Having thrown down the gauntlet, I think it behooves us to remind him of this fact until such time that he acknowledges that CMoN continues to use such tactics in their KS, never having stopped doing so.

Awwww Thiago has just confirmed that the tiles will not be double sided as they do not want to limit city builds

You can call them fake all you want. It doesn't make you less wrong. The additional sculpts are all bonuses to the base box and are not figured into the production costs of the base game. This may sound crazy, but every additional sculpt costs money to develop, mould, and produce. They don't magically appear out of thin air. They're included because, were the game to only fund at $100K, they would not be included.

Cmon is in the fortunate position that they are both able to surpass these totals rather quickly and use existing relationships to produce these items up front, but that doesn't remove the cost associated with producing them. Assuming a brand new sculpt is free to produce is both foolish and, simply, wrong.

So you're welcome to continue calling them "fake stretch goals" as long as your little heart desires. Doesn't make you any less wrong, nor does it change the simple dollars and cents of production.

Like I said before: there seems to be a lot you dislike about what is being presented (or don't care about); perhaps this just isn't the campaign for you.

KS didn't show me the game with the search, so not even close to an EB. Ah, well.

This campaign is going to be weird, they've shown all the interesting things (sins, their gribblies) years in advance. New heroes don't excite me. I guess seeing how they'll handle *getting* more sins will be the only really exciting thing. Mayyybe some more Hell Clubers.

Now give me my monster thingies!

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

Does Fanboy #1 realistically and honestly believe that CMoN budgeted the game at only $100k a la Dogs of War?

It's clear from the things that CMoN has been showing in the year+ since the Others first broke cover that this is intended to be a much larger project, with a minimum funding target that is in the $400-$500k range.

Maybe we'll see alternate or more corrupted avatars of the sins and their minions? That would be one way to mix it up I guess.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

With the alternate minion sculpts, that's what's already happening.

I don't think we're going to be seeing alternate Avatars, as they are large and expensive. For the same effort they might as well throw a little more at fleshing out the missing Sins.

Hah. Do comments like this make you feel like the big tough clever man? Perhaps yes?

Based on this whole quote I'd gather that you have no actual concept of how production costs work? How much it is projected to make had absolutely no bearing on how much it costs to actually make. This very simple fact seems to be lost on you.

If anything, your "fake" stretch goals label would be more appropriate for any and every campaign that just tosses in extra models. They cost a small fraction of the total producing a new unique miniature does.

I hope your trolling and personal attacks continue to go well, however.

I'm surprised that they don't just make the back side a repeat of the front side of another tile, then! Journey: Wrath of Demons does this to good effect, meaning that there's a lot of variety possible in map setups with only a few unique tile sides.

From the gameplay basics video it appears that you can only have one of each location tile in play as the tiles have special abilities and once used they can't be used again so there is no need for more than one if each.

The soundtrack stretch goal is an interesting departure which reminds me I must dig out the Hellraiser soundtrack

Right. I wouldn't be surprised to see more tiles added because of that, Dave C.

Soundtracks huh?

I always liked that about the Flying Frog games. Adds to the atmosphere.

And Flying Frog managed to get physical copies into their game box.

Would be nice if CMON did that too.

Why? You have a discman you're going to put it in?

I mean, seriously. Complaining there's no physical copy in 2015 is a little silly.

Perhaps you'd like it on vinyl?

Yes, actually I do.

My copies of Shadows of Brimstone came with physical CDs.

I know John has been riling you up, but please don't take my comment as some sort of attack. I simply said it would be nice to get a physical copy. It's not the end of the world if we don't though.

MP3 players do seem to be all the rage these days!

I might be one of the dinosaur holdouts that still wants a CD when he buys music.

(I just ordered New Order's latest 'album' and got the day of release MP3's...and a CD!)

Apologies Alex; as someone that recently digitized and got rid of around 300 blu Rays, the idea that people are still using hard media for music is confusing to me ;-P.

For some reason I'm liking the new heroes a whole lot more than the boxed ones, which were the only things holding me back (cause the munsters are excellence x100). I'll wait abit more but I'll probably jump in on this (nooooooo . . .)

I suffered from a vinyl collecting fetish for many years, let me tell you. And I mean music, not the other stuff, so get your minds out of the gutter.

If the soundtrack was awesome, and they offered it on vinyl, then yes, I would like a physical copy. Just because.

I agree about liking the new heroes a lot more.

With Adrian being based on the artist, makes me wonder if Karl is based on a certain artist as well.

The more I see the "Original 7" the more I like them!

And the 'production' plastics we're seeing looking good too.

Guys, you surprise me...

Now moving on to the third sin, Greed.

The retail release of Greed will be $25

... and the Greed avatar goal is now unlocked. On to more goodies *omnomnom*

As I said in the comments, thank the sky lizzard that Sins are starting to be SGs. 25$ is bad for retail, IMO, but if we should get ALL Sins for free during the campaign I'll buy one box to use for creepy gifts. Who wouldn't want a demon mini for his bday or easter

Avatar-sin entourage-hero-sth else-avatar etc. is my guess.

Man, I wonder what themoney boosting add-ons will be. Most of the excitement for me is actually "unlocking" the sculptor's pics on their blogs once minis are revealed during the campaign and they're allowed to show their work in detail. We've seen the Sins and their sculpts already, I need something...other.

Given the artists involved I think we'll start to see some "Artist Gust Boxes" for Heroes, and maybe Hell Club members or other adversaries?

I'd be surprised if they didn't have the inevitible Paolo Parente Lust pack.

Bit of news from the comments the tiles are smaller than Zombicide tiles so they are not easily combined

Another goal bites the dust. About 9k more until we have the 3rd Greed goal unlocked and then it is on to bad cops!

Things I would like to see even if they were add ons. Different abominations and controllers so that the sin player can mix and match. Not just different sculpts but different stats giving a bit more variety to the Arsenal.

More hellfire members, possibly even more resembling the cenobites ... Plastic tokens instead of card board. We are already know that the board will be littered with tokens might as well make them look nice.

I'm sure they will make create more heros so why not some familiar faces from the BRPD?
