Okay, who's charging the Hive Guard (in my squad) besides me? I thought I was the only Combat Marine in this squad, hence my hesitation to charge it right off the bat. The power axe packs a wallop but at initiative 1, the Hive Guard can very easily paste me before I get to swing in a 1v1. If someone is charging with me, that risk is lessened.

You've got the sergeant who is rather assault-oriented, the Librarian and if I'm not mistaken at least 1 or 2 other assault marines (one being a space wolf, they're always hard to forget).

Good thing our stats are enhanced then, as quite clearly stated in the OP. (Granted it can still 1 hit kill.. but so can the astartes in this instance, the thing only has 2 wounds AFAIK)

Death or glory is the only tactic that matters on a suicide mission!
Besides, the marines are also A2, A4 on the charge if they're assault marines, who will almost definitely have power weapons.

Good point. And if they live long enough to kill something as well, well I guess that's just a nice bonus

The Libarian charging with Prescience and 5 attacks (3+2 CCW+Charge) hitting on 3's at a higher Initiative Strength 6 Ap 4 should do 1 of them in just fine. assume 4 hit, 2 wound. I might not even have to use Force, as i am ignoring their armour. I plan to charge the 1 on the right. Only thing to worry about is overwatch, which at strength 8 could be very scary, but we gte our armour save so it's a risk i am willing to take.
Can we get a move on things? I want to whack something with my walking stick!

Well, who gave that order eh..
Would've been good to have more heavy weapons options for this team I have to say. Would've loved to have taken a Deathwatch-style hellfire heavy bolter with extra suspensors (which if memory serves was 18" but could fire on the move at assault 3 and presumably had a 2+ poison too).
Mind you, at least our boltguns and pistols have hellfire ammunition.

Muy excellente, danke schoen Cas. One question though, can Stormbolters take special ammo? I'd assume not because TT rules.
Player Name: Liquidjoshi
Character Name: Kereon
Class: Marine
Chapter: Minotaurs
WS:4 BS:5 S:4 T:4 W:2 I:4 A:2 Ld:9 Sv:3+ (assumed statline, please correct if wrong)
Equipment: Power armour, bolt pistol, combat knife, frag and krak grenades and combi-melta.
Background: Life in the Sternguard, it was often said, was typically more demanding than in any other position in the Chapter, compared to the reward. The Honour guard stood by the Chapter Master's side. The Terminators of the First Company had the honour and luxury of serving in the nigh-impenetrable Cataphractii warplate. The Vanguard were steeped in glory. The Sternguard? They held the line, kept their nerve in the most deadly of situations – and won. They were the unsung heroes of the first company. And yet, it was never a position vulnerable to envy. Most of the Sternguard of the Minotaurs found themselves wearing a grim, yet warm smile as the Vanguard would drop into the gap they had made, or the honour guard stormed past the Hive-beast they had felled moments before. Although they were unsung in the Chapter at large, they knew their efforts were appreciated; out of all the highly secretive Minotaurs, those most trusted with the representation of the Chapter within the Deathwatch were the calm and confident marines of the Sternguard, with an almost exclusive honour in such a regard. Kereon is simply the next marine in line – although to say such so simply would be a gross understatement of his abilities.
Like any Minotaurs Sternguard Marine, Kereon keeps a calm and confident demeanour in battle – an approach strategically chosen by the Chapter. Who better in the Chapter to forge the bonds required of the Watch? This often throws off those who serve alongside them, for the stories of the Minotaur's brutality and rumoured “Fratricide” seem to belong to a chapter altogether removed from the Marine standing beside them. That said, any Minotaur worth his scars will hold his tongue at such accusations, unwilling to engage in discussion of such rumours. Those seconded to the Watch already know how delicate their bonds to their brothers are – and what such discussion could do to the squad.
Kereon himself has served in the Sternguard for the better half of his life, having fought on Termina, Orpheus, Dellemar, as well as a brief campaign in both the Deimos cluster and Rakshan IV, usually enjoying victory in the most demanding areas of each warzone. Although he is proficient with almost any infantry firearm, Kereon will refer back to his trusted Storm Bolter time and again, though after an incident involving several members of his squad succumbing to wounds caused by an overheating plasma gun, he finds himself distrusting of such weapons at best. His mission in the watch is twofold: not just to scour the xenos in his path as any Deathwatch, but to bring a better standing to the reputation of his chapter.

With all these new Marines, it would've been easier to form new 'reinforcing' squad sent in via another Thunderhawk, maybe they could explore that middle tunnel Castiel wanted us to go down. You know, the one we went in every other direction from.
But really though, that'd make a lot more sense than 4 or 5 marines popping up out of nowhere.

I'd be surprised if they do considering the sheer size of a Hive ship and the fact they each went in different directions. More likely alternate routes will present themselves.

I think what needs to happen is that the OP is fixed up to reflect the new line up, with so many new entries and drop-outs.
Also, can I clarify who and what character is at each section?
Here's what I know
Broodmother
Varus Renzo (Me, Deadshot)
Elysius (Darkvoidof40K)
Solem (???)
Arthilos (???)
????????
Hive Guard
Sgt Nirn (The Glass Ninja)
Librarian Morr (???)
Space Wolf ??? (???)
I am confused so much by the changes in lineup I'm not sure who's where anymore and who plays who :(

It is a bit confusing but I've just about gotten used to it. If you read TGN's post where he orders who goes where, that gives a clear picture of who is with him and a few posts down I specifically wrote out everyone in the group I'm in. Obviously there are a few discrepancies now with people having changed. Varus Renzo is played by Deadshot (Replaced Venator Umbra.. sort of) Elysius is played by Darko Solem is played by Omega Arthilos is played by Ashiraya Lethos is played by CustomLime Sgt Nirn The Glass Ninja Librarian Morr is played by Alex is awesome Gundleif Haraldson is played by Trondheim Raphael is played by Yeroc Sevastus is played by thenoobbomb but I assume that character is being voided in favour of Blaxican's Marine named Brother Willie Then there's Liquidjoshi's character who is.. somewhere.. and Jake Wolf wanted to join but I don't believe he's made a character yet. I think we probably should have just had two separate kill-teams to begin with.

Ashiraya plays Arthilos, the marine with the Multi melta.
Trondhiem plays the Space Wolf.
ALEXisAWESOME plays Librarian Morr.
Solem I think is played by Mr Omega. I could check, but feth it I'm going off memory.
BlaxicanX is playing an Assault Marine charging the Hive Guard.
I'm pretty sure there's a couple of others, but past this point I'm also a little thrown by who's left or just quiet.
