Hello Gentlemen.

Apparently I am being ambushed and taken on a holiday today, which I was unaware of. I will pack my laptop and some dice, but I don't know if I will have any internet where I am going. If I do I will continue this from there, if not then this will have to reboot a week today,

Very sorry about this, I wish I'd known sooner to let you guys have some warning or so I could have sped us up to the title fight.

If I might make a suggestion, maybe grab another experienced Darkstormer and get them over here to keep this going if you can't. Throw tyranids at the marines, roll some dice, couldn't be simpler.

Actually, reading Castiel's post again, is it just gonna continue or is it going to be a full reboot?

I'm not sure, I would have thought we'd just continue but it wouldn't be too hard to reboot so early in the game. Then again there's not a great deal of reason to. I'll have a chat with him about the game's future via PM anyway.

It's only because he mentions rebooting in the post. Could just be a turn of phrase, but an actual reboot would make a lot of sense. We'll just have wait and see I guess.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have returned! Going to get the dice rolling tonight and have everything ready for a restart tomorrow. If you haven't already done so please post your combat actions and any questions you may have. Tomorrow I will put up a post before I send you all your results and you can start killing things. COMBAT RESULTS!

I'm not going to pm everyone seperately, I'll just post them all here. Write them up for your characters as you see fit

Squad Nirn

Prescience is cast.

Balar, Willie and Haraldson all fire bolt pistols and hit. Balar and Willie fail to wound. Haraldson wounds. Hive guard on right takes a wound. Raphael fires, hits but fails to wound. The Hive Guard fire back, hitting Nirn once. His armour protects him from harm.

Balar lands 5 hits on the left Guard, but fails to wound. Morr charges the right Hive Guard. Hits it 4 times and wounds it once, killing it. Willie and Haraldson move to Nirn’s side. Harladson hits it twice, but fails to wound. Hive Guard strikes back, but fails to hit. Willie hits it 4 times, wounding it 3 times. The Hive Guard are dead.


Squad Solem

Ignis flames 5 hormagaunts, cooking 4. Ilin picks off one of the Termagants as does Kereon, while Solem misses his shot.

Arthilos fires hit multimelta. Hits the broodmother removing 2 wounds. 4 left.

Surviving Termagant fires back, hitting Renzo and Ilin. Both fail to wound.

The surviving hormagaunt charges the squad, but is intercepted by Solem. It hits him 3 times, but his armour deflects any damage. He strikes back, hitting it 3 times and killing it outright.

The broodmother spawns 4 hormagaunts.

Ignis cooks the 4 hormagaunts alive with a flamer blast. Ilin kills the surviving termagant, but not before it hits Kereon. His armour protects him from damage. Kereon and Renzo shoot the broodmother with their boltguns, hitting it 4 times and wounding it twice with poisoned rounds. Arthilos hits with the multimelta and takes a wound from the broodmother. Solem’s shot bounces from its tough hide. Solem charges into combat, hitting the beast 4 times and wounding it once, his maul finding a gap in its impressive armour. The creature is dead, but in its death throes it produces 5 termagants and 6 hormagaunts.

Ignis kills 2 hormagaunts with is flamer. Rezo, Ilin and Keroen fire 6 shots, all hitting the hormagaunts. Ilin kills 2, while Renzo and Kereon kill one each. Arthilos fires at the termagants, killing 2 with the beam. Solem hits a termagant with his bolt pistol killing it. The return fire hits Keron, Renzo and Ignis, but their armour protects them from any harm.

Solem charges the surviving termagants. He kills them, their hits glancing off his armour.

Just a question, do we all give a POV RP summary of the entirety of the combat log, or are we doing it bit by bit? I've done the latter thus far

Post it however you like. if you'd prefer do do small installments that's fine, but also feel free to write up the whole thing in a oner if you'd rather do that.

I have posted, and brought the combat for the second squad's results to a close. It seemed prudent to finish it off so that we can get moving again as soon as possible.

Sorry for being MIA this week guys, schedule's been much more busy than I thought. Parents are redecorating the entire house, from the ground up so things weren't ideal.
