Though I need a bit of an explanation, why the two size A-Wings? One is from WOTC?

Yeah, the FFG A-wings are out of scale (to the eye if you look at the movies, the a-wings are barely bigger than the cockpit area of a Y-wing. Some people go nuts on the 'official measurement' though so YMMV), so being OCD prone I wanted them to match better, and found the WOTC one to be of adequate detail and sizing...

I like that you repainted your various Ties to grey. I know the blue is accurate but growing up, they have always been grey in my mind, especially since I played the X-Wing games a lot.

Your custom YTs are my favorite. I can't wait to see what you do with the YT-2400.

I'll try to get a decent pic up by the weekend.

Well i only just started this game just under a week ago and played my first games on sat only at 50-70 points for learning.

So far only have

2 X-wings
1 A-wing

me and my brother split a core box and got a couple of more models each to see if we liked the game which we do and we will expand.

My next planed purchases or the next few weeks will be 1 or 2 B-wings and a HWK after that will be a falcon. once these are rounded out ill look into getting some imp's.

In a way, it is the most exciting list! There is nothing more exciting then discovering a game that you really like and really want to play.

Well after one whole game, my grand total is four TIE Fighters - but hopefully that will expand very soon!!

So Squadron Builder put Dash Rendar in the system and I was playing around when I realized

So on your turn you can still translate your position about 4 with a '1' maneuver and Barrel Roll, (most likely, have to see the YT-2400 dial) get a Focus token, then Target Lock and re-Stress. And not care about obstacles all the while and shoot 360 no-scope. I think Kyles upgrade card is going to see some heavy use here. I am only curious about the weapon choice. The Heavy Laser is sweet and fluffy but not being able to shoot at range 1 could be problematic.

My friends and I play with a third faction of pirates with access to a bit of both lists. Now that I think about it I do need to make up that deathseed...

My fleets so far:

Rebels:

1 x YT-1300 (at least going to get a 2nd and maybe a 3rd for cards)
3 x GR 75 (couldn't help it, the scenario required three dammit!)
1 x CR90
3 x Y-Wing (at least getting 1 more if not 2)
2 x A-Wing (will be getting at least 2 more from 2 Rebel Aces sets)
7 x X-Wing (3 from core sets, 3 from the transports, and one expansion)

I will definitely be picking up a HWK and probably a couple YT-2400 when they come out.

I may be alone in this, but I hate the B-Wing. There I said it. I will probably be trading/selling the ones I get from Rebel Aces away.

Imperials:

1 x Lambda (will probably be picking up 2-3 more of these)
2 x Firespray (may pick up a 3rd)
3 x Tie Bomber (will probably pick up 3 more)
3 x Tie Interceptor (2 from Imp Aces, 1 Expansion, will definitely be getting more of these!)

I will probably pick up at least 1 Tie Defender for the cards, but I dislike the model. I'll probably pick up 2-3 Phantoms as well. I'll probably also be picking up at least 1 Decimator just to have if nothing else.

After playing my first demo game by a friend with a large collection on 31 May, i went out straight away and purchased the Core Set and Tie Advanced and an additional X-Wing

Fathers Day i also got an A-Wing


The club i play has Imperial players, and if it was up to me, i'd probably play Imperial, so im going to build as strong a Rebel force, to get plenty games under my belt and then expand to the Imperials.

Contemplated picking up the huge ships but it seems like everyone else has them. Plus dropping all that cash at one time made me wince a little.

Been playing for about 2 months now. The first month I maintained a fleet of about 7 ships... then I stumbled upon MajorTom's fleet, and looking at the size of it made something click in my head. Fast forward a month and I'm not sure if I love or hate MajorTom yet...

Not at all. I tend to play large games at my FLG (between 150-300), so I suppose it has some point in that regard. But alas, it is nothing more than an unhealthy addiction... and I totally blame MajorTom for it
