The deathwatch books are one of the many books I'll never get time to read in my life but I like know this stuff anyway,
Could Dakkanuaghts give me a quick run through of Black Shields and their place in the Deathwatch?

Black Shields are all made up of Dark Angels looking to infiltrate an organization that they believe is providing Fallen asylum without realizing that all the other Black Shields are the Unforgiven doing the exact same thing.

The black shields are marines swotn to eternaly serve the Death Watch until they die, the reason for a Marine to become a Black shield is many but it can vary from said Marine being highly skilled at batteling xenos to attonement for some unknown deed or failiur.

Hidden Heretics everywhere.

Black Shields are space marines that for some reason, wish to enlist in the black shields with a "clean slate" by disowning their parent chapter they becoming wholly deathwatch. Be they an Iron Warrior seeking redemption or something else.

No, it's quite correct. The Black Shields suffering from the trope of a Flock of Wolves is the only logical deduction.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Everyone is secretly Alpharius. Except Alpharius. He's public about it.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
