Pledge manager emails going out open until March 1st.

The email says I pledged $0 which is incorrect I haven't got in yet to check

Oooh neat march. March 31st would see me having more money than the 1st... but this is still good news. Hopefully it means the KoW 2.0 (or is it 3.0, second kickstarter third book release?), will be started/closed even later just in case.

It appears the link doesn't work and everyone got the $0 pledge amount - off to a good start then!

Mine also says $0 once I log in......but has a massive graphic of the pledge level I selected. Not sure if:
a) they fethed up
b) it deducts the value of your stated pledge from the amount you pledged so the $x only represents the extra you need to pledge (as I might have just gone for the pledge level and said "feth it, I'll work out what I want later".....will have to check my spreadsheet)

I pledged a lot over the basic pledge, and my e-mail still says "Thank you very much for pledging $0 to our campaign "

Never mind, figured it out.

Got mine submitted. I didn't check to see if I could change it after the fact (and maybe digging for some funds...) but I completed my order as intended and the process was fairly pleasant overall. Got a receipt which very clearly detailed what I purchased and added on. That last part alone makes this leagues better than some of the other surveys we've had from mantic.

Looks like no physical version of the adventure books available due to production costs, I'm sure some people will be unhappy with that as flipping pages *can* be a lot more satisfying than typing your page number into the PDF. Alas.

Gotta say, this is maybe my favorite pledge manager for a project yet. At least in-house. Backerkit I think was even more streamlined the time or two I used it, but this was quite handy.

Those were literally the Mantic products I was most excited about.

Do they have the gall to charge ten bucks for the PDFs? Not that I'm interested in those.

Weren't those just a bonus add-on thing for backers (not sure if it had to be a certain pledge level or anything), I think the only paid option was going to be for physical books but I guess those must have proven too costly to produce.. i guess?

I was going to pay for physical books. I didn't follow all the sweet spot pledge freebies.

Yeah, I remember that. I *know* the digital versions come with the regular 100 dollar dungeon master pledge. And the physical books were 5 dollar add-ons but were cut. So I'm not sure what kind of hellish limbo that puts you in... Sometimes these things send the digital PDF links to most everyone, I think $1 backers for deadzone got the rules PDF, but there isn't anything written down directly saying it one way or the other. Best bet if you even want the PDFs at all is to use the kickstarter message system to see if you're getting them or if you could get them, or contact Sarah possibly.

The only heroes not included in the Dungeon Master pledge were the witch, Twilight Kin assassin, and the vampire, right?

I thought there was a 4-pack in resin that had two characters not available elsewhere? The witch was one, I thought there was another, the engineer dwarf maybe? I think the other two slots were repeats available in plastic too, but I could be totally missing here.

The Mars Attacks! stuff I've been working on has got me sold on the material, at least for gaming pieces, so I'm not planning to buy anything in resin if it's available in BG plastic. I'm just wondering which, if any, minis I have no choice but to get in resin.

I think it's the witch and dwarf engineer. Anyone I'm forgetting guys? Oh and the elf with the two swords comes only in resin I think, but he's just attached to the DM pledge anyway.

Do they have any pictures in the pledge manager for those last minute heroes? The assassin, the jester, and the vampire?

I too was all set to plunk down the cash for a physical hard copy of each CYOA book. A shame.

I believe everything but the jester has at least a render, as far as I could tell. Assassin may or may not have been a concept art I just can't remember right now.

I knew I'd do it -_- Changed my pledge a little, added $50 and went for a second copy of the early bird complete set. Do love my epic games, and having doubles of the heroes will let me go nuts on converting them. So 2x base games + 1 each of the non-undead expansions (since the base games each come with the undead one).

Dropped plans for resin legendary heroes and dice + bag. I think the resin minis will be great, but hard to argue with the much higher value this way. Bring on the epic dungeon bash!

I ended up grabbing the dice bag, I had an early bird and pledged 200 bucks so I had 5 dollars to spend. Was a little tempted by the acrylic counters (as it would probably cost more than $15 at retail to get some) or the wound counters and bone piles... but I really couldn't be bothered to go through another window to enter payment info

The extra payment window wasn't too much of a hassle. My problem was trying to remember what I wanted, originally. After that, my brain was so worn out that I just autopiloted my way through windows and buttons.

On a slightly different subject, did that new and improved Valador thing end up giving us more minis and tiles?

Both yes and no. It didnt give us more minis (since they used to be the extra undead in the base pledge), but they did give us more tiles. According to the graphic anyway.

Btw, anyone else annoyed that Jake *still* hasnt uploaded any new rules? Was really hoping wed get them before the pledgemanager went up... :/

I'd like to see those final heroes as renders.

Maybe next week when the rest of us get our invitations.

I kind of with the Halls of Dolgarth came with the acrylic counters. Then I'd really have no excuse not to back.

I had this crazy idea of taking that Black Fortress expansion and turning it into a Skaven stronghold.

There should be those unofficial Kings of War lists for corresponding GW armies, so comparing their KoW stats with the stats of races already in Dungeon Saga, I should be able to have something pretty close.
Of much more entertainment will be getting stats for all the weapon teams. With that Goblin war trombone already in game, again using KoW rules to compare that to various other artillery, I should be able to get some reasonable stats figured out.
Maybe a Verminlord to replace the Tyrant of Halpi....

Or even better would be if there was a rat-man stat range in that adventurer's compendium or whatever it's called...

There is a good reason for this, but unfortunately I can't share specifics, but as someone in for over $200 I feel comfortable with it.

If its a good reason, then why cant you/they share it? I mean, we were told we might get the second draft of the rules toward the kickstarters end... and now it been more than 4 months, during two of which Jake has been completely silent, and the kickstarter updates havent really done more than show us two renders and an ad for the KoW kickstarter... It just feels as though no one really gives a feth.

I mean, you cant tell me the post-kickstarter stuff was well managed. Far too much radio silence, no wip sculpts, no artwork, no rules apart from the wounds change, the complete disaster of a pledgemanager, never mind the time it took them to get it done... Would it have been that difficult to snap a pic of each sculpt, and show us one per week? I know theyre done, Ive seen those pics from the open day... why not put them in an update, but at a resolution that actually allows us to see something? Why not tell us why Jake is quiet, even if its just a nebulous "Hes up to something, and its awesome!" or w/e?
