Well, that adds another dimension to the piece, to be certain.

Shame you won't have a piece Theo. It looks like you have a pretty good solution there though. I have used plexiglas as a flooring too. It works well.

Rah Rah sis-boom-bah! Push 'em back, push 'em back.! Way Back!

Do they have cheerleaders in the UK?

Entry received M0rdain, and info forwarded to the other Judges. Thanks for the earliness.

Also, is it possible to have multiple people on a PM on this forum, like a CC sort of thing?

Reminds me of the old commercial for nfl Europe years ago where they showed all the hot European cheerleaders... Then they all raised their pompous and their hairy airpits looked like they all had cousin it living under them .

We don't really have cheerleaders, the closest we have is over exuberant parents shouting at their child's team.

Y'all had few cheerleaders were in the UK last week-end for the NFL game at Wembly, but nice to hear they are not normally around. I fail to understand how US football could appeal to you Brits. It exemplifies the worst aspects of the US, violence punctuated by committee meetings. (A quote by George Will, BTW. ) Not a fan of the NFL, me. National Felons League.

At least the parents just shout, or do they bring those infernal cowbells too?

Ah well, back on topic. Looks like many people are going to make it to the finish line. This is a good thing, even though it means much more work for the judges. There is beaucoup quality work here. Inspirational and imaginative.

There is no shame in failure. There is only shame in never trying. I think most people who undertake creative endeavors of any sort have failed many many times.

Hey all.

Made some good progress lately. Hopefully be finished this weekend. Or soonish' .
All the progress is amazing, some brilliant ideas everyone.

I changed my mind from my original bridge idea to a 'Ruined Drive Thru'. Sprang to mind as I was thinking what goes with roads and traveling... food.

Here are a few of my WIP pictures.

Despite sitting this one out, it surprises me that coincidently I've been working on some roads lately. Ah, no, that isn't me saying that I'll be making a late entry. Nah, just that I think I'll be knicking a fair few ideas from this thread before its over. Good work so far lads.

Entries received from Littletower and xXweaponprimeXx, so we are at four entries.

A brief note: We need to be able to see all parts of the entry, and in focus too. So before you hit the send button, make sure that the images you submit are ones that the judges can work with.

And the excitement builds....

Thanks for the kind words Cam and Littletower. I'm blown away by your work and your past entries and terrain and blogs. Praise from you guys is worth heaps to me.
@Red Harvest, was that Brief Note aimed at anyone in particular? Like, should I take more 'whole piece' photos?
Cheers

Just a gentle (I hope) reminder to one and all, based on some things Dr H noted and mentioned to me. I find that he is a superb addition to the judging staff.

If we judges find that we really need more photos, or better photos, we will PM the contestant with a request. We want everybody to be able to present their best work in the best way possible.

Remember; If we can't see it in the photos, we can't judge it...
...and you're more likely to "not gain" marks for the good bits we can't see, than "not loose" marks for any hidden sins.
