Hmm... is the Falcon on a lower shelf to the Outrider, 'cause it seems FFG have made the Outrider too big. Compare the cockpit on both. The Outrider is much bigger than the Falcon... and it shouldn't be.

Grabbed myself a Decimator and the Rebel Aces pack. I may go back on Saturday and grab an Outrider. It's a debate between that and another Monstrosity set from PP.

I had my friend go and try to pick me up a Decimator... they were sold out and said MAYBE they'd have a couple more tomorrow.

Apparently Outriders are readily available but Decimators are going FAST despite being restocked this morning.

A friend sent a battle-report, of sorts, from his hotel room last night, and it seems like the Decimator is just obscenely powerful, and can be upgraded to screen your other ships as an "obstruction".

It has multiple avenues for "ramming" advantages including unique characters, modifications, and ship titles. Basically, it's an ork ram kroozer in Star Wars if you want to play it that way.

There is a third faction announced 'Scum and Villainy', should be interesting. The box looked like it had two headhunters and a bounty hunter craft which escapes my memory at the moment.

I'm very excited, as it is something that I've wanted since release, 2 years ago.

I would love for that Fringe Y-Wing to come with some upgrades for the normal Y.
Looks like the Syck from Galaxies, a fringe Y-Win and Z-95, the Starviper (likely with Virago title and Xizor pilot) and IG-2000 as the large ship.

Good mix to start.

Don't forget its (The Y-wing/Z95 pack) coming with rules to play the Slave-1 and Hwk-290 as pirates as well.

The line-up will essentially have as many Day-1 options as the existing factions do.

If my friend would log into his facebook messenger I'd get him to grab me an outrider. Ah well, guess I can wait til Oct. Maybe by then my Robotech stuff will have finally shown up & I can finalize my deal with one of the locals who missed the KS & recoup my wasted $ lol

How did armada look?

Good. It was good. The fighter squadrons die pretty quick unless they are named, but look to be a very important part of your fleet. Maneuvering is very simple and intuitive but also very skill rewarding. Engagement happens far faster than expected by the way. The feeling among the other demo guys I was with and the spectators was, to my impression of them anyway, "This is good, but it's different from X-wing". It just takes some adjusting though I feel. We played two turns and I was ready to dive right into round three so don't judge it to quick, I'm looking forward to my starter set.
