From the Team Covenant Twitter feed:
"Scum and Villainy" will consist of IG-2000, M3A Interceptor, StarViper, and a "Most Wanted" pack including Y-wing and Z-95 repaints plus new content for the Firespray and HWK."

IG-2000 should be large base, Bounty Hunter Droid IG-88's ship.
M3A Interceptor... I don't know much about this one off the top of my head.
StarViper... likewise, not in my head.
MOst Wanteed pack is apparently like the Aces releases. Repaints and cards.
I'm hoping for a release of just pilot cards...

The M3A is better known to Star Wars Galaxies players as the Scyk, a fighter that was created for the neutral faction in the game.

I think Hondo Ohnaka in the Clone Wars has something to do with popularizing the pirates to the masses...what a cool, morally gray character. Would be cool to see some of the ships they used in the show...like his saucer!

The LY-3000 existed WAY before Star Wars Galaxies.

It's most well known incarnation is the Lady Luck, as owned by everyones favourite Mining Administrator, Lando Calrissian. It first appeared in a video game in Jedi Outcast, a year before Star Wars Galaxies was released.

It's in Shadows of the Empire isn't it?

I like the Virago, although I feel I'd need to repaint them Red as that's what I had/have the old AMT model done up as.

Actually I believe it may predate Star Wars Galaxies as Lando Calrissian's ship Lady Luck was a Luxury Yacht and first appeared in Heir to the Empire, yet I'm not sure when the artwork was first published.

Most Wanted has me excited...
In addition to 2 Z-95 and a Y-Wing repaints, some of the cards included are for the Firespray and HWK... very cool.

Yeah, Lady Luck and Wilde Karde were in the Timothy Zahn books. Not sure when designs for them appeared.

Earliest I recall seeing them was in the WEG RPG sourcebooks for the Thrawn trilogy.

I doubt they will do the massive ships for Empire in the next few months. From what I can tell, at least in the local scene, those did not sell super well, as opposed to the $15 ships and the "Aces" packs which sell like hotcakes.

Plus, Empire is getting that Decorator (I think that is what its called) ship along side the YT-2400, and that is supposed to be the largest standard play ship, no?

Am I the only one with the sneaking suspicion that these S&V ships will serve in your Imperial or Rebel fleets if you are willing to use the appropriate title or pay some 'mercenary' points?

Heck, if it is a title you may be able to even start swapping Imperial and Rebels. Perhaps the Most Wanted Expansion would be the best place to drop this gem of a card.

I just can't imagine FFG neglecting their two established factions for even a single wave at this point.

The Decimator is pretty big, but it's just not the same.

Thing is, I think one of the major reasons why the Huge rebel ships didn't sell is that they're a hard sell when you have just 1 side with those ships, and nothing to counter it. I mean, one of them's an unarmed transport. The other ship, the CR90, would fare better if the Imperials had better large and a huge ship for it to fight against. Rebels also have more "bomber" type fighters, and yet no big targets to really bomb.

That's why the Lancer would be a good fit. It's an Imperial ship that is made for killing starfighters, it evens out the shock of the Rebels having two capital ships of their own (even if one of them is just a transport), and it gives the Rebels something to bomb!

Anyway, a third faction is a really good idea for X-Wing. Far better than trying to add in the prequels and splitting the fan-base.

According to Wookieepedia the Decimator "... was created as an 'evil' Imperial version of the Millennium Falcon" so it's inclusion in the game does make sense.

FFG has released their typical spread of the "Most Wanted" box contents. I was really confused as to why they include a maneuver dial for the Firespray and the HWK-290... until I remembered that the maneuver dials have a faction specific back on them.

We have a new Bob, as well as a new category of manoeuvre and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm wondering if they have plans to scumify the Falcon in the future.

You can already use the YT-1300 as a smuggler's vessel, so I guess it would only be a small step for that.

I wonder if the X-Wing will be included in this faction? I've painted up some of them as a kind of Mercenary faction and just use them as rebels at the moment, but it would be cool to have another option.
