I have a small Bakunin force (Bakunin sectorial starter, Lizard TAG, Zero hacker, Cassandra Kusanagi and a Reverend Custodier with Boarding Shotgun). I think I'll start by adding the best minis from what I have, like the Custodier and the MK12 Sin Eater. I haven't thought too much beyond that point. And regarding to the PanO, I don't think I'll be expanding them yet. If I do, in the future, it will be based just on miniature looks. Bolts, Jotum, etc. Basically more recent minis.

I can certainly understand why someone wouldnt like croc men.

How much of icestorm can you make use of in NCA?

Fusiliers are pretty much it for NCA unless you want to use the ORC as a proxy for something like a Swiss or Aquila Guard.

Thinking of starting the Svarlheima Sectoral when it comes out...I assume I'll be able to use the Fusiliers and Nisse, and probably the ORC....are there any other models that are pretty much a lock for the sectoral? (I mean, REMs, I guess, but anything else?)

Orks - "Da Rust Gitz" : 3000 pts
Empire - "Nordland Expeditionary Corps" : 3000 pts
Dwarfs - "Sons of Magni" 2000 points
Cygnar - "Black Swan" 100 pts
Trollbloods - "The Brotherhood"
Haqqislam- "Al-Istathaan": 300 points
Commonwealth - Desert Rats /2nd New Zealand 1000 points

Not necessarily on the Fusiliers.

Each of the PanOceania Sectorials was supposed to have some kind of "Veteran Fusilier Regiment" that is to be their signature Line Infantry unit.
Aconticemento is, for whatever bizarre reason, the only one which has Fusiliers locked off for them and replaced with their signature Line Infantry in the form of the Regulars.
With Neoterra the reason they retained Fusiliers at least made sense in that the Auxilia(the "Veteran Fusilier Regiment") would not be able to Link since they all have Auxbots and before the introduction of the Bolts there was very flexibility in terms of NCA lists. Retaining Fusiliers became a necessity since otherwise there were very few cheap troops that didn't come with Auxbots.
The Military Orders getting Fusiliers and Order Sergeants has always struck me as a mistake that they are unwilling to fix. When Dire Foes released the problem became blindingly obvious with the fact that MO have access to both of the named PanO Dire Foes while Aconticemento got zilch.

Expect Varuna to definitely get Fusiliers, but do not be surprised if Svalarheima potentially gets a signature unit and blocked off from Fusiliers like the rest of the Sectorials in the game.

That's a fantastic looking board that looks completely awkward to actually have a game on. Reaching into the middle ground level for movement, measuring LOS, templates... Stuffs going to break.

I'm not going to have mine setup the same way, that was just an example. That is the great thing about the terrain is the modular system. I also have bunker walls added to mine to create multiple building locations, instead of just one giant building inside. Honestly though as long as the pieces were prepped properly, none of it is going to break. It is fairly sturdy and the levels can be removed fairly easily to get access. LOS isn't too bad at all. Templates could be an issue but they can also be placed under the terrain so it isn't too bad.

Silly, silly question I can't find anywhere:
Icestorm comes with which tokens?

(I've sort of resigned myself to never, ever having the right number and amount of tokens for this game...)

Empire - "Nordland Expeditionary Corps" : 3000 pts
Dwarfs - "Sons of Magni" 2000 points
Cygnar - "Black Swan" 100 pts
Trollbloods - "The Brotherhood"
Haqqislam- "Al-Istathaan": 300 points
Commonwealth - Desert Rats /2nd New Zealand 1000 points

I like the PanO TAGs and will probably get the Cutter followed by a Jotum or Dragoes. The Bolts are on my list as well.

I should mention I get stuff for looks more than power level. Which I think is viable in Infinity.

Same here which is great. And Corvus belli makes it easy (or hard depending on your perspective) to decide what to get because most of their stuff looks great!

I admit I hate to follow the beaten path, but Jotums and Auxilia are both units that I was thinking about getting into PanO for anyway.

I like Croc Men thematically, but I'm not sold on the sculpts (or my ability to paint decent-looking Maori tatoos.)

Will be adding a stingray series TAG to my panO when they are released (already have cutter, squalo and dragoe) and sufficient other panO.

But I'll be adding the nomad stuff to my QK force. It might also be enough to have a complete 300pt nomad army (complete with 4 TAGs for them)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

These all all good ideas!

Not sure how Croc Men will function in N3, but I can't imagine that a cloaked hacker will cease to be quite good!

At this point I'm waiting on icestorm itself to expand my existing nomads collection that I bought specially to expand icestorm lol.

I've got a tomcat engineer & a zondcat, sin eater sniper, 2 interventors with fast pandas, iguana, zero/Vortex spec ops & a zondbot. We've been proxying the icestorm models with sisters of battle.

Got the Cutter and Bolts. Can't wait to assemble and paint them!

Gotta paint my buddy's Nomads and my PanO first though. Rules are rules...

I've gone and bought the spec ops, train rescue box, fusiliers support weapon box and a Jotum to expand my PanO stuff.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.
