The above has all the info on everything Except the Civil War, in which I've heard rumors but nothing solid.
Also rumored is Iron Man 4, The Incredibly Hulk 2, and that Blade, Ghost Rider, and Punisher "Are on the table, but we're not going to say 'we have the rights back, make the movie'. We have to wait till the time is right. "

I really hope Panther and Strange go ahead, and with the way the Inhumans have taken more of a role in the comics in recent years I can see that happening. Hulk 2 could be good if they get Ruffalo to do it, he was brilliant in The Avengers and deserves more screen time. Shame to hear it won't be based on Planet Hulk, though, as they would make a great movie, and GotG already introduced Sakaarans.
But most of all, I want Cap and Thor to get their third films. Both the last two were awesome, and we need to see Thor finally face off properly with Loki (I'd love there to be no other bad guy in T3) and the Winter Soldier still has a lot to resolve. I could do without another Iron Man, but it could be interesting if the event hinted at in "All Hail the King" become a reality.
I see Phase 3 going on longer by quite a way than Phase 2, given what we know is coming (Evans and Hemsworth both have 3-solo-film contracts and GotG 2 is already confirmed) and how much more could be done. Of course, the Avengers cast won't stay young forever, so I can see them moving on to A3 at the expense of new stuff.

If Marvel made it (GotG, Cap 2) it did quite well. If another studio made it, it performed less than expected or worse. Marvel has been on a roll, but I cant help but wonder when fatigue will set in with audiences. Considering their two-to-three movies a year schedule mixxed with the eventual loss of their marquee players (RDJ, Chris Evans, ect) it is inevitable. Automatically Appended Next Post: Paradigm wrote: the way the Inhumans have taken more of a role in the comics in recent years
This is Marvel's way of prepping them for the movies, especially since they can't use the FF or X-Men.

the middle three where not made by marvel, who seems to be the only ones realizing we dont want gritty realism in our comic movies.
And Ofcourse Civil War. Hydra coming out of the closet is so setting it up.

I don't mind Gritty Comic Movies, honestly; Punisher/Batman shouldn't really be cracking jokes. It also brings their "No Joke" character to any sort of Team Up and gives it more character, so that's awesome.

Days of Future Past was quite a surprise success I thought.
It got completely eclipsed by Cap 2 and GotG, but I thought it still did pretty darn well.

DotFP was amazing. But Cap2 and GotG were both far superior. Spider-Man was a flaming pile of dog poo. It was more "Gwen Stacey and her sidekick Spider-Man" throughout the whole thing. Until she died. Spoilers? Nah. Seriously, if you missed the movie, just thank me. It sucked.

I wouldn't call Spidey a pile of poo.... I think everyone will admit that it's STILL better than Tobey Maguire spidey movies
as to that article, it's a bit old, and I've seen a newer one that "confirmed" a few titles and such coming out, and I can't remember which Hulk they were doing: Planet or World War
Personally, World War Hulk would make more "sense" because the rumor is, the end of Avengers 2 will see the main characters toss Banner/Hulk into space, yet an almost entirely CGI movie will probably not do well (too many of the aliens in Planet Hulk were, IMO too far from human to really be acted live by a human, regardless of makeup) however, a few flashbacks or a quick intro video with the music can adequately tell the story of Planet Hulk to give viewers who've not read it an idea of what went on, and truly begin the movie with the transition to him leaving his Planet and floating back to Earth.

Gritty realism is clearly wanted if it's done well. Captain America was a gritty realism type movie and it was very well received, even by critics who generally dislike superhero movies. It and GotG were the only two I saw in theaters this year.
As for others, 300: Rise of an Empire, Robocop, TMNT (doing pretty well, surprisingly), and Transformers 4 are mostly "meh" so not a lot of reason to see comic book movies in the theater this year regardless of how much grit was used to make them.
And though it's TV not movies, Arrow beat the snot out of Agents of SHIELD. Just saying.

I have yet to see DoFP, but so far I've yet to be let down by a superhero movie this year. Cap was 10/10, GotG was 11\10, and Spidey was easily a 9 if not a ten. The only recent ones I haven't liked are the IM sequels, the rest are all great. Going forward, I have high hopes.

There was a listing up upcoming Marvel movies that had all sorts of things - Inhumans, Black Panther and Avengers: Civil War - it was fake though, so don't get your hopes up.
I think Marvel has a plan, but I think that that plan has shifted with the surprise success of GOTG, the fact that people are asking for Black Panther and Captain Marvel films more than any other film, and that RDJ recently gave a big "Nope!" response to the idea of Iron Man 4.

I think the One Shot at the end of ( IIRC) Thor: Dark World made a VERY good attempt to fix some of the issues that fans had with IM3.
IF there was an IM4, it would have to follow on with this fixture, and we'd STILL have the Mandarin as his chief arch-enemy, which, IMO could make for a good movie, as he'd spend half the film saying "The Mandarin isn't REAL, I put that actor behind bars!!!"

Yeah, the All Hail the King one-shot, as well as being a brilliant piece in its own right, set up a very nice potential, revealing
So long as he spends time as Iron Man rather than Tony Stark and/or Remote Control Man I would like to see another IM film.

I sort of agree... For IM3 it basically worked, because he was dealing with some SERIOUS PTSD issues. I did not like how they went from "I'm PTSD riddled, and broken, incapable of normal human life" to "Ohh... BAD GUY!!!!! must destroy the BAD GUY!!!"
Im sorry, but PTSD just don't work like that.
...But, that could/would be an interesting way to introduce some of the other characters like Dr. Strange (even though I know there's another One Shot of Tony doing a "shrink session" on a couch with Dr. Banner)

Sin City and 300 may have bombed but Marvel has had a great year. Capt America and GOTG where both big successes and X-Men DOFP (though not official Marvel) was excellent. Really erased the bad memories of Origins Wolverine and Last Stand whilst building on the very solid Foundations of First Class.
I don't even think Spidey 2 was as bad as many people seem to be claiming. Yes it wasn’t quite as good as the first 2 Rami films but it’s still perfectly enjoyable in its own right.
Marvel Studios is currently on a roll.
