The Warstore is now taking preorders for N3

N3 Book info:

Full color books.
Estimated number of pages: Background: 180 pages; Rules: 275 pages
Binding: Soft cover with flaps. Both books are content in a case.

Cheers for that Kan.

Can't wait for these to go onto pre-order, hopefully should get about £50 or so from retailers here in the UK.

A bit expensive although reasonable if it is such a jump in volume, and again if its downloadable you can always take that route if you don't want to splash the cash.

UK is probably going to be between 38-45 depending on who you order from, then post and package on top

Seriously, I never thought of it at first but when I was painting it that hand really bothered me. Why is it like that?

The way she is painted makes me think of Armitage

That's the same as the 40k rulebook, and you don't need a codex on top of that, and it's cheaper to get an army together.

No complaints from me there, it's just that £38 would be a whopping 20% off retail.

I think I got 15% off retail on O:I so I'm hoping for the same on N3

Thanks to the lack of VAT I've managed to get it down to £42. Which happens to be a nice SF-related number.

Preordered from thewarstore , thanks for the heads up.

Way cheaper than trying to get current on GW. Oddly my local FLGS just bought into infinity with a shelf display of 6 starters and 6 (2ed) rule books , sometimes they make me laugh at how current they are on trends. But they do have a healthy stock of space hulk

Do remember most retailer will offer a discount on it. I would expect it to be closer to $60 in discount stores in the US.

The Asawira. Great stuff. That should have been the cover for N3, not the Hac Tao. (I may be biased here.)

How is this thread 3 pages already. Uh yeah. Infinity players gab, alot. It's a good thing.

The Warstore wants $65 for the set. 445 pages total. Not outrageous, but a bit high. But I suspect printing costs in Spain are higher than in Asia, where a lot of companies have their printing done. I'll wait and see what Miniature Market will charge, then decide from where to order. I'm sure I can pad out an order to get free shipping. Hmmm, new Janissary HMG for starters...

Hey red, don't forget that Neal price matches , I placed an order and will ask for a match later if the price is significant. Though I get most of my stuff from MM as they are two miles from my house when there's a significant price, I have to shop as I must pay state taxes their, but not at thewarstore.

I interpret the oda with the 'funny hand' as maybe kind of sweeping it out behind her to hold balance. Or maybe she was oriented to the left and has swung her torso and legs to the new position to match her gun and the left arm is trailing a bit. It *is* a bit funny though.

Meh, 65 for both but then what does one have to spend to get free shipping for Neil, or is that even a thing? I may look into MM though another wayland mayhap would be sadness.

Ah, Thank you good sir. I did not know that. I don't have the sales tax issue, but Warstore shipping will be a flat rate ($7) and MM shipping will be free, given that I will order Yojimbo and the Janissary HMG too (so order will exceed $99). So, It'll be $7 less probably, from MM for me. Gotta save where you can.

SMG Oda is the best one, IMHO. Arm is out for balance. Or hand signalling somehow. Cocking her Contender Oda is number two. I hope to see a resculpt of Spitfire Oda soon.

The SMG Oda looks a lot like a military hand signal. Possibly a sign for those following to pause or slow down.

Makes sense the SMG takes point.

So Army Builder update before the physical rules are released? Have they mentioned when they expect N3 to be available online?

It was explicitly stated that this is "not the army builder", so who knows what's going on.

I just sold a bunch of stuff in the local store auction. But I can't decide if I want to use it on the rules or the new CA set! I can borrow the book to read the fluff I guess.

I think her hand is in mid karate chop action pose , you just need an enemy model standing there.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Oh cool that site has a countdown, and a sign-up via email.

A couple of possibilities I can think of
- re-launch of Army Builder (which perhaps is the most likely?)
- Perhaps some kind of new interactive software/download for the way that the rules are available online?
- The people that make the Army Builder have been entrusted with some other elements, and we're going to see a step forward with background (is this likely for 3rd edition? I think perhaps quite unlikely).

Art is the main reason why I'd like to own it. I might be tempted to go with different army, however that is to be decided after new CA starter and reviewing the rules.

It's probably that we'll get full profiles for the Father-Knight, Reverend Healer, Dactyls, and maybe even Kaysim Beg and others.

Note that with the Aleph and Tohaa units especially, their profiles won't be in the N3 base book. They're going to have to release the profiles online sometime; may as well be on October 14th especially with the profile-less Dactyl coming out.

Wayland has it up for pre-order at £37.50 (~$60USD or ~$67CAD), they are also doing one of their free worldwide shipping sales it seems (orders over £40, so need a little something extra to qualify).

Either way, cheaper than anywhere on my continent. I think I may throw in with them this time around.

Nope.

'Bulky: Please note this item is bulky and is not covered by any free shipping promotion.'

Which makes perfect sense, because they'd be losing money on postage even within the UK, let alone overseas.

Yeah O:I was the same as well because I tried to get the free shipping promotion on that from them. I dunno whether to pre order from them or wait for Element Games.

Ah well *runs numbers*... still cheaper apparently (12% tax and $16 shipping from Meeplemart, $25.00 shipping from the Warstore)... Go Canadian dollar!

Don't you all have a LGS that can preorder? This isn't a limited-quantity product, and it seems that all preorders will get the Authorized Mobile Brigada-Hunter. There's no rush.

You can often ask your LGS to order via their distributors and save on shipping.

Nope. Might be a glut of them round your way, but I know of one that's within driving distance, two towns over (where I won that truth telling contest).

There are a few GWs knocking about nearer though (not one in this town however).

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”
