you should go ask them if they can preorder it for you , then run the numbers costs in front of them when they try and sell you a rulebook, codex, and starter set.

Last time I ordered from my LGS, it took 6 months for a partial order to come in. I don't do that anymore (and I wont even step in to the other one due to smell and general nastiness). And of course neither of 'em offer any kind of discount off the cover price so even without shipping factored in, after taxes it tends to be pricier than ordering.

The fun of living in a country where moose have a higher population density than people. Things are expensive and slow when dealing with anything originating from inside our own country. My LGS is mostly for my infrequent Warmahordes purchases and boardgames (really good selection on those).

Somewhat important- MM is now pre-ordering N3 Rulebooks for 63.99 and I have confirmed with them that the mini will be provided (in case anyone was wondering).

Also I got an update about when they expect Icestorm in and they said they are still waiting on Customs but those who ordered Icestorm through them, they do expect it in rather shortly as it should almost be fully processed.

It's not dynamic in any way.

Quick question; I know the first Terracotta Warrior was released, but does anyone have any details about a boxed set of Terracotta Warriors? I don't want to order him if he'll be in a boxed set soon, since I'd prefer to get the set.

I think you'd be safe. If they plan a boxed set at all, any recent troop I can think of with a boxed set and a single blister didn't repeat the blister contents in the box.

I'd say there's a couple of things to consider.

They're likely to be the Line Infantry in the Invincible army starter. Line Infantry these days get a support weapon box. But then, heavy infantry so far have not had as good a weapon selection as light infantry to justify a support weapon box. These guys straddle a weird line - they're line infantry, but in a unit type that historically doesn't have the options that make line infantry good.

Personally, I'd say you're safe. I can see them being the Line Infantry in the starter, and probably getting an additional blister with some other variant, like a rocket launcher of some kind, to fill out a 5 model link. And if that does happen, historically CB have released that additional model as an individual blister for a few months before it got bundled. So even if that other model and the HMG got bundled into one blister to cut down SKUs, you'd be able to grab it solo anyway.

Aha. I hadn't seen the full profile set.

That box of 4 will probably be multi rifle, boarding shotgun, missile launcher, proxy (all 4 model boxes these days have at least one proxy). Add to the 3 rifle models in the starter, and the individual HMG blister, and you've got the makings for a selection of HI line infantry.

None of the SWC boxes have had proxy loadouts, for what it's worth.

That's a good point, something I didn't realize.

The only other way I can see an SWC box like that going is - bundle the HMG, but release the other 3 as a limited time blister for those that bought the HMG, or double up a weapon, probably the boarding shotgun, maybe the multi rifle.

Onto the saucy N3 rule reveals...

Impetuous: Impetuous troops no longer get the benefits (+3 ARM, -3 BS) of cover when in partial cover.

Template weapons: No more negative modifiers when dodging a template weapon if you have LoF to the model shooting you. If you don't have LoF but are hit by the template you can try to dodge it with a -3 to your PH.

Smoke/MSV combo: Will kinda work like the new surprise attack but with a -6 BS to shoot back. The difference is that dodging is not effected by the smoke. It's just a flat PH roll to dodge that attack coming through that smoke.

Should make the MSV/Smoke combo a lot less intimidating to face if you can dodge that well.

I like it, sound and resonable changes.

Agreed that's a good change (although TBH I didn't really have that particular combo used against me that often)

The loss of cover to impetuous troops is a fairly important one will really affect their survivability, nice to see template weapons get a slight nerf as well - this combined with the CC changes means that perhaps we will get some more close range fire-fights and melee that last more than 2 seconds.

@Bladerunner2019 - Why did you have to let the Wulver in here? Although I've seen that mini converted so it looks like it is leaning up against a wall, makes it look somewhat better.

Will have to disagree on the ABH, that guy is definitely going to be collecting some booty in my force when he is released!

The difference being that on the ABH it's armour that's sticking out rather than a person's actual anatomy.

Well he does wear powered armour and the waist would give you the perspective you needed, but the chest webbing obscures the bodies form.

If you listened, he doesn't say those were "limited edition" but rather that they were unreleased. In the first or second video, he shows off the Ghulam with HMG which was intended to be a blister to replace the previous blister.

They got to the point of having a fully painted model but then pulled it.

Seems that the Svarlheima Yu Jing sectorial is called "White Flag" and has units called the "Ghost Wolves" and something else.


Shavastii and EI troops have actual logos now.
