Other than Impetuous troops not getting cover. I'm pretty happy with what I've heard so far. I don't mind the no cover on my pretas but that would really hurt my shaolin. I never liked they were impetuous in the first place though. Irregular yes. Impetuous no.

All war bands are bloodthirsty khorne berserkers who don't know how to duck, from the sound of it. (Forgive me if shaolin are not war bands, shaky on that faction)
Hey does that mean my riot grrl will not get cover? Aren't they impetuous frenzy or something, change state after kill? I guess it would happen then. Even more reason to link them instead it seems.

Unless they change the background, Shaolin are far from being bloodthirsty. These are guys that train and meditate to fight but it doesn't mean they rush into battle. Having been in Martial Arts for many years and having actually met some. I know it to not be the case.
The no cover rule makes some sense for some Impetuous troops though.
Dats are going to have an advantage with mimitisim.

Well im quite sure I read someone claiming that frenzy makes you impetuous but without negatives....but that might be just my imagination.
Rgirls have H-D lv1 so its not so bad....maybe they reduce cost to balance them out? In that case link will be sound option.

You surely must jest. MSV 1, hyper dynamics, amazing weapon selection and Frenzy rather than impetuous. It would be hard to find a better HI for their utility and cost.

Im not, frenzy=impetuous unless you are not planing to kill enemies with her, yes they are cool but right now Rgirls benefit much from cover bonus.....and its not so hard to kill them, arm 3 is nice but dont make them tank.

Changes are always a cause for anxiety, but so far it seems like all the changes have been very well thought out and are not just "changes for the sake of making changes and all seem very well thought out.
Impetuous losing cover makes sense to me. By definition, impetuous means to move without concern, so why would an impetuous unit move carefully into cover? Especially when you must be very precise and stop exactly touching the cover.
Bikes are interesting though. I suppose the rationale is that they are too large to benefit from cover. Meanwhile, over games make bike riders more difficult to harm, essentially carrying their cover with them.
Not sure which side I like.

Motorcycle troops are all impetuous anyway so it's kinda moot.
Perhaps we have a reason to dismount now?

I think that's not true. I think Carlos is talking about using your orders wisely. If you declare move as the first shor skill of your order, the other specialist has to declare his ARO before you declare your second short skill. That way, when the specialist declares a CC roll with some MA level, you can adapt to the circumstances. So if you declare a CC attack as your first short skill, the enemy specialist could addapt better to your attack. So I think that what Carlos means is: if your are going to attack a MA specialist in CC, do it with your second skill.

Pardon. I misunderstood the example they were giving with models already in Base-to-base contact.

Similar with Magister Knights, you want to dodge with them. It's rather difficult to imagine you're triggering frenzy on your first turn, anyway I don't expect any price reduction on frenzy units.
They are not aspect, they are their own race. We don't know much about then yet and likely will not until the new book.
Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.
