Does anybody here know when 3rd party army builders might take a crack at updating their apps?

I was using the Aleph toolbox most recently.

Is that a natural 21?

BoW has posted a how-to by Angel Giraldez on painting the Kum rider:

The other parts will be coming up this weekend.

The creator of Aleph toolbox has a thread about his updates for N3 http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/26738-aleph-toolbox-n3/. It's a pretty basic version right now, but he does plan to continue updating it.

The step by step is significantly more intricate than the "3 color" (minimum) name the url hints at! Also, it forgot the real first step...

1) Apply liquid talent to hands liberally and rub in till dry.

I'd also be interested to hear if this one will be updated

I'm pretty sure that when any of them are updated, we'll hear about it everywhere that cares about INFINITY related stuff.

Even here, in this very thread!

I guess this will replace the old wheel of armies. It's not half bad.

There's also the infinity store page.

That new thing is... fairly solid.. yes. I don't like how it seems to be Tokyo drifting to the right when I click an army up top such that I have to scroll back over.. but it's not half bad. Easier to go back and forth between units in the same army.

I think it has enhanced cruisability.
Better photos in most cases. Really nice.
But the little fluff blurbs seem to be missing? I liked those, more than once they sold me on a certain unit.

Still, very solid and better than trying to get through the store by itself.

I love the new pictures, but yea, missing fluff. I loved reading fluff on a unit cause as mentioned, it does help sell it for me

The Pan-O and Nomad starters from O:I are on that page, under the Starter Packs part.

It's good, glad we've got a miniatures page again. It's a bit buggy on my phone but hopefully will be better on my iPad. Missing the fluff though, as mentioned.

I personally liked the older page where the model's name was listed on the thumbnail. Right now, we just have micro-images of a pack's contents with no indication as to how many figures are contained in it.

However, of course it looks pretty. Progress in steps.

They need to put the names in actual text under the thumbnails, so you can use the browser search to quickly find the models you want to see.

The same goes for the unit PDFs. All the entries are image files, including the text, but it's good work for a first draft since I know how time consuming this kind of work is.

Agree with most people here. It needs to change it's design a bit, it was even a bit buggy being to wide on my laptop, which is my only computer.

They should have different pages for the different factions. As of now, it just auto scrolled you down the page instead of redirecting you.

Better thumbnails, with more clearly visible pictures of what unit it is and the names.

Fluff snippets pls.

I'd also like to see the statlines somewhere right there. I think that would be cool. Like, above the hypothetical fluff snippets it says the unit's name, and under that the statline and equipment. Maybe not every loadout, but you know.

Still though, if it is sort of a WIP, it's great. Looks way better than the old version. Lots of potential.

Yes it looks snazzier than the old miniature wheel and page, although I think I still probably prefer the old one as it stands.

Better than having to look through the miniature catalogue for the time being though.

Its worth noting that in their weekender show, BoW mention that this is not a one off, and Giraldez will be producing content with them regularly now, he apparently got in touch with them himself.

How so? He's always had the extra bits, they just didn't show it before.

They have always shown it http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en/2011/miniatures/van-zant/

Just not in one photo.

I always liked this conversion of him combining the bits

It's a crime to have that mini on a slot-a-base with the sprue showing... *sadface*

That one looks cool yeah, I think that's how I'd build it. I'm not too keen on the model though.

What film is it from? Reign of Fire?

Cheers. Only seen it once years ago, might have to watch it again. Is it any good?

Sorry, forgot where I was.

We should start seeing new model previews soon shouldn't we?

Any hope for the Alguacil box soon? Not like CB needs any more of my $$

Happy to see the Szalamandra is indeed still in the lists. Though I'm disappointed that along with the Geckos they remain expensive. TAGs took a hit in utility in N3

Combat Jumping Ragik

Beyond the Beltway

Last thing I heard was that both the Alguacil box and the Teucer mini were postponed indefinitely-- casting issues apparently. There have been such things in the past, such as with Diomedes.

Most recent rumor that I have heard about releases is this:
-Yan Huo ML
-Ragik (probably a spitfire to replace the discontinued HMG)
-SWC box of Unidrons
-Pan-O starter (from Icestorm)
-Nomad starter (from Icestorm)

Nothing for me there, since I will use my Ragik HMG as a proxy for the spitfire. Unless the new Ragik is awesome, of course.

I do hope the new weapon profiles appear this week. And everything else.

Very excited for the Unidron SWC and the Yan Huo. And I'm looking forward to seeing the redesigned Ragik, they were one of the Hassassin units I didn't really like (I also don't really like the Fiday).
