For a Knightly Orders-themed board, have a look at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral:

I'd consider Romanesque buildings for a MO themed table, or perhaps Spanish Missionary style. Gothic, meh. Overdone.

Seraph looks good. Dynamic. I hope the Tikbalang turns out as nice... whenever they get around to it.

Amazing churches! I can totally see the Military Orders operating out of the Liverpool Metropolitan.

That preview was stupid. Why was it a video? Just put out the individual pictures so I can view them at my leasure instead of getting stuck with a slideshow. Also it was mostly just the same angle over and over without much else to compare different view points of model sizes.

Because reasons!

Seriously, nobody knows why they insist on videos.

Either you view it through their site (so clicking on the next video is quite likely already) or you view it through youtube (or an embedded youtube player) and youtube's suggestions will nudge you towards their next vid.
Annoying, hell yes. Irrational, not so much.

Eh, I just wait for the eventual screengrabs from forumers or HD images from CB, whichever is first. I dislike video to simply showcase images as it seems a waste of time, but it's them wasting their own time so it doesn't bother me.

That TAG shall be mine. Oh yes. It shall be mine.

I'm not referring to Beasts of War. They're clickbait, same as Bell of Lost Tacos.

I'm referring to Corvus Belli. They basically trend towards giving people with video capability previews.

Really not digging the pose on the Seraph TAG.
It's a standard dull sword in one hand, giant gun in the other. Only GW has more lifeless poses.

A CC monster like that ought to be posed at full gallop or something. Booking it straight to the enemy to gut him.

IDK... there are many options that would be more dynamic than what I'm seeing here.

Is that a natural 21?

Geez guys. Angel always posts stills on his FB page. Just view the previews there.

Next up, the Guijia? And whatever else is coming this month.

I love the pose - oftentimes when companies try to go for 'dynamic' they end up with 'stupid' and/or 'goofy' instead.

This one works just fine for me!

This just in! Alpharius in 'loving a PanO TAG' shocker!

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

Like the model, LOVE the base! Is that a premade base from someone or something Angel cooked up himself?

Unless Angel changed how he does bases, all of then are custom made by him.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

I like the pose well enough. I think I'd rather him be aiming the gun with the sword on standby, but the current pose is strong for both general play as well as display. I'm assuming this guy doesn't work for Neoterra so I'm still safe from buying a TAG unless MM ever puts a bunch of MO knights up on clearance... Can't quite recon the Squalo, even when they sell him for $25, but if I had a force to use with the Seraph, I'd probably buy it without waiting for a sale, it's fancy.

TAGs for $25? Wish that there were places in Europe that run those kinds of offers occasionally.

Is Infinity not doing that well in the States or Miniature Market or something? Surely that must be selling close to trade price.

They do "flash sales", that's not their regular price.

Plus, that was the old Squalo at $25 in their recent sale. It was just old stock they were getting rid of, I'm sure.

Infinity is doing quite well. The price is one of MM's deal of the days, here http://www.miniaturemarket.com/dailynews. I think the strategy is to get people to order the item on sale, then add stuff to the order because 'while I'm at it...'. I'm guessing it works. The Infinity stuff tends to sell out quickly enough. Except Tarik.

Yeah they put the old one up for $25 recently, but I'm like 85% sure they put the new one up for $25 too. I also got geckos for half or better off during their summer blow out sale. I dunno how those people stay in business, as cheap as they let things go sometimes. Works for me though, half price infinity is stuff I'll buy even if it's not for my faction

As Red Harvest said, it's the 'we;;, I'm already adding stuff to my checkout, so I might as well...' mentality. Doesn't get everyone, but enough that it makes the sales worth it. It's a pretty common sales tactic.

A local large supermarket chain is well known for putting brand new console games at 25-30% off, because you're likely to grab other stuff while you're in there. And we all know how wargamers are with completely un-needed purchases.

Yep. I almost always look for something to tagalong on shipping. Throw a bones figure in the box my clearanced shasvastii drones are coming in? No brainer, may bump the shipping like 20 cents, way better than paying 3+ dollars to ship that item later. My only wish is that I could have them make a tiny shelf for me to hold my DotD purchases for a little while in case they hit me 3-4 times that month.

In other news I'm looking forward to seeing the USARF bikers get released, the Maverick in the army box is unique to that box isn't she? And it looks like there are at least a couple of desperado (or whatever they're called) sculpts. Is the lone ranger (or whatever) also a biker profile? Shaping up to be 3-5 unique biker sculpts, guess I'm not gonna need to hit up JSA to get a bike gang after all.

This just happened.

Me: *walks into FLGS*
Guy behind counter: *Looks up, makes eye contact*
Me: "Seraph!"
Guy: "I know!"

So that's pre-ordered then.

But now what will you wish for .Mikes.?

Speaking of Miniature Market, need a Sogarat HMG anyone?
http://www.miniaturemarket.com/dailynews

Technically the term may be loss leader, but I do not think MM is selling these items below cost.
