Well, let's see:
-4 bodies
-4 heads
-8 arms
-4 backpacks
-2 scabbards ( for the male figures.)
-4 katana/scabbards w/attached hands (possibly, since this is how they did it with Yojimbo)

So 26 pieces. I expect it to assemble easily enough, but transporting those delicate katanas...

Very cool minis though.

Aaaaah, GW players/modelers. Silly rabbits: Corvus Belli doesn't do bitz like that. There are times I wish they would to enable conversions, but mostly they go for relative ease of assembly.

The bodies are probably all one piece. CB does metal molding really well.

The backpacks and heads are definitely going to be attached. Even re-using the same torso, they often do a second mold with the variant heads etc. attached.

So you're looking at bodies with a couple arms to glue on, and maybe a scabbard. I hate the scabbards and leave them off a lot, but YMMV.

There are days when I miss multipose plastics, but then I look at the big hammy hands, chibi-heads and ridiculous bodies on GW minis and realize that I'd rather enjoy decent CB proportions even if they're metal. Wish there were more SF plastics with realistic proportions out there though.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I bad to glue the backpacks onto my USARF guys.

These look neat but I will stay away, too many factions wanting attention as is.

Ah, but the Games Workshop (Hereabouts, GW refers to George Washington University, at least until T. Kirby et al hear about it and sue that particular institution of higher learning for it.) makes you pay for all those bits. Most of which you will never ever use. It's like Car Dealerships tacking on the 'rust-proofing' and all the other unneeded stuff to pad the price. A rip-off, if you ask me. I have not bought a Games Workshop product in over 10 years. I still have a ton of useless Empire and IG bits in a ziploc baggie somewhere.

The heads are all positioned differently in those renders, which to me means they will come as separate pieces. Backpacks... IIRC most of the minis I have came with the backpacks as a separate piece.

Chibi heads are at least cute. The ones on Games Workshop miniatures are anything but. Troglodytes, the lot of them.

That seams like quite a lot in a 23 point model.

My first thought when I saw that Dactyl was a line from Archer of all things.

I'm mainly thinking "How does he reach all those gas-grenades?" Does he spin his bandoleer around or something?

Can someone now remind us what the Seraph's stats are, and if there are changes coming due to the new profile/look/etc.?

Thanks!

Supposedly they're changing and we'll see them on Friday.

I'm saying we'll see them in December.

No longer a mini Tag, no longer a Stingray series Gecko size TAG. Now it has a 55mm base and it has S7.

We will se the new profile on Friday.

Think he looks awesome, fits the aesthetic of the Knightly order very well.

I'm now having an urge to create a Knight-themed terrain board; some customised 40k terrain for the gothic architecture with more sci-fi elements thrown in.. armories, chapel, barracks etc. with all the internals done with bits from Antenociti and the like. And of course a TAG hanger with a couple of these bad boys plugged up inside.

Must.. stop.. too ... many .... projects... already!

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

UK

A TAG I actually like the look of! (kind of inevitable, really, as the Knights are pretty much my favourite part of Infinity aesthetically). I just don't fancy the pricetag (priceTAG? Sorry, sorry! ) or painting a metal model that large.... might get one eventually for the shelf, though. It would add a nice centrepiece to my small MO force.

Anyone else hoping we get a katana-armed YJ TAG at some point to do a Knight vs Samurai diorama with the Seraph? With maybe a Knight and a -whatever those katana dudes on the last page are- to mirror the clash? The potential for that might actually get me to buy a TAG or two...

Now it needs to have pseudo-wings, preferably in orange-glowy-hex style, (mecha Aatrox from LoL, the splash art, not the in-game renders) added to the images and it'll be perfect.

And super jump, 'cus AD on a TAG will never happen again.

The Guijia which is due this month will probably have his sword out, it's not so much a katana as a hook sword thing but it is from Yu Jing. Probably wouldn't be hard to model the O yoroi with a katana.

Doesn't the O-Yoroi already have swords modeled on it?

The O-Yoroi's sword is in a scabbard attached to it's arm.
