On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Why is that a horrible story?

I would rather they went with aesthetic of model design if it meant it looks good, and a small concession on the rules for something..

I dunno, how about making a model with the rules that actually encourage taking it and has legitimate play niche within the army, rather than relaying on subjective rule of cool to sell and play it? Personally didn't like the CAD image at all. The inverse way of designing and changing rules as an afterthought is simply counter intuitive to me.

As i said, I'm not a big fan of the situation (although I happen to like the render), on the other hand it was only a 'small' TAG for a fairly short time before reverting back to being a fullsize one.

I'll be curious to see what buffs it might get to accommodate it's larger size.

Bear in mind that we don't know if Human Sphere N3 was going to revamp the Seraph to fit the smaller Silhouette, so it might be that it 'just' flips back to S7 without much change from the current version.

Miniature Market has a fall clearance event going on, 15 items from Infinity on offer:
http://www.miniaturemarket.com/clearance/clearance.html#/?_=1&filter.manufacturer=Corvus%20Belli&page=1

I think most of it is the older stuff, but may strike someone's fancy. Also noticed that the amount in stock on the actual item page was different from that listed on the page I linked. A few things seemed to be out of stock already.

Yeah OK, don't get excited, I was checking and most of it is out of stock. Some old Nisses, a single old style Squalo. The did have 6-7 older CA drones left after I ordered a box for myself, but $20 or so isn't that much different from their normal price on those, I don't think. So maybe one or two things left if you check all of them.

Sounds like the stock take sale my FLGS did mid year. Basically selling off 1st/2nd edition sculpts that have been resculpted. They still have about 5 boxes of the old Kum they can't shift (unsurprisingly, though I'm pretty sure they were 75% off still with no takers). Though they threw a few new sculpts in that I'm kicking myself for not grabbing (Sakiel Spitfire and Kaplan Spitfire for 50% off).

Now for something news-related - I've just got my Combined Army Drone stock in and the box contains the appropriate head and arm pieces for all five loadouts. Photo to come...

Rumor has it for next releases, the Domaru box has been delayed... Yu Jing players are getting a remodelled Guijia instead!

Sure that's bad. It means that I need to get the current Guijia before it goes out of production.

So here is the ALEPH mini...from Angel's FB

I was hoping for more Hammer Pants, like Thrasymedes has :( An interesting take on a rage fist too.

And the obligatory rear view, since it is an Infinity Mini

More on his FB page.

I actually really like that guy. He'll be a great Deva.

It looks like he's just slipped them so he can crack his knuckles menacingly and engage in some fisticuffs. Gangs of New York Post human style.

I think those are affixed to his vest. I have no idea what they might be, attachment points for something? I'm sure he is wearing a belt too.

A Deva, perfect idea Barzam.

And the painting? I am not so impressed. I think Angel is rushing these RPG minis.

Won't be that menacing when someone pulls the whole "Excuse me, but your shoes are untied" and becomes the victim of an atomic wedgie (short action and ARO).

I actually think the Domaru miniatures still look pretty good despite the age of the sculpt.

But, these look like they have the potential to blow them out of the water !

Nice pictures, but they'll come in too many bits and be a pain in the bum to assemble and transport.

I wouldn't have thought so; looks like legs+torso single piece (shared by gender) and then separate head and arms. Pretty par for the course for Infinity, really.

I would rather suffer a little bit of pain if the end result looked that good, and the fact is that some of the later releases are far easier to put together than the earlier miniatures.

And there are so many transport solutions these days for minis, it's not like we're having to carry them around in tissue paper-filled biscuit tins any more. There is no excuse!

Cigar boxes were also in vogue for old timey historical gamers back when I started years ago.

The sculpts do look nice though. Have they posted a pic of the new less thunder thighs Guija?

Yeah, trying to figure it out mentally, they shouldn't be any worse than any other Infinity figures. Those really are gorgeous. They've got a great sense of both weight and movement.

Well, let's see:
-4 bodies
-4 heads
-8 arms
-4 backpacks
-2 scabbards ( for the male figures.)
-4 katana/scabbards w/attached hands (possibly, since this is how they did it with Yojimbo)

So 26 pieces. I expect it to assemble easily enough, but transporting those delicate katanas...

Very cool minis though.
