Yeah, that's what I thought too - I was joking there!

I'm worried that if this slips even a bit more than they expect, we'll get bit by CNY 2016 too (Feb. 8 2016) and then this will get pushed even further back - as in Q2 2016.

@Alpharius

There's nothing planned to be produced at China

I am looking forward to some Scale75 stuff being at GenCon though. I have been wanting to pick up a few things but not wanting to pay shipping on them. ^_^

The assumption here is that the delay causing it to move from "September 2015" to "Before the end of 2015" will really mean we'll either get this in '2015' or early '2016' - with no further significant delays due to anything in China.

We'll see.

Posted some pictures from GenCon for Fallen Frontiers on Facebook.

Let me know if you have trouble seeing them and I'll get them over to here. I plan on uploading them to Dakka just haven't had time, still catching up from being gone at GenCon. The miniatures quality is top notch and I can't really wait to get my hands on them. I will end up replacing the playmat though however I will say I was surprised on the terrain. It was much thicker board than usual and extremely sturdy and strong. With a sealer or superglue edging on it it will last very well.

Nice pictures!

Any idea if those were 'production' miniatures too?

Probably not, but you never know!

It may very well be a mix. Some of them I have already and match what I received, some semi-recently had 3d renders completed for them. A couple of them were probably production, given the earlier screens of miniatures being casted early on as well. None of them seemed to have any indications they were prints vs resin casts.

I'm really looking forward to this one shipping - hopefully sometime in Q4 of this year...

Really wish I could convince myself to buy as much as possible in the PM, but I have a feeling this would be a case of absolutely beautiful minis sitting unused at the back of a shelf... Didn't they release beta rules recently? Has anyone read them?

The Beta Rules were released...a week or two ago?

I haven't read them yet, but I noticed quite a few typos/translation errors in the unit cards.

NOT a promising start there - but it IS still 'just' a Beta, so I remain hopeful.

Especially as I bought a lot of Ares, Riff and Sayx!

I have not had a chance yet, it is convention season and I still have some side projects I'm working on. I am hoping to be able to get some time to really play with the rules in the next couple weeks. We'll see how that ends up. LOL!

September 20th, I believe!

So, you've still got a fair amount of time.

They've now moved on to the mass manufacture of resin models. Results look decent, although would probably need to see them in-hand to know if it was all worth it!

Specifically, it seems that their aesthetic (and scale) choices have meant that these do look robust enough for wargaming, which is nice.

Glad to see that 'high volume production' is well underway!

I never doubted their ability to get nice looking resin casts - just that they had to make so many of them is so short a time!

[EN] Hello friends!

Today we want to show you the Slave Warriors and the Behemoths from the Harvesters faction.

We also want to take this opportunity to remind you, as we announced in the update of August 5, that the Pledge Manager will be closed on September 20.

We hope you like them!

BEHEMOTHS

SLAVE WARRIORS

I don't remember these from the KS - but I didn't get any Harvesters so...I might have just missed them!

And a scale shot:

Yes, every faction had in the "starter box":
- Characters
- Squad leaders
- Heavies
- Standard Troops (Slave Warriors for Harvesters)
- Lower Quality Standard Troops

And then, as add-ons only:
- Specialists, frequently light or scout-types
- Big guys (Behemoths for Harvesters)
- Vehicles

Least shocking news ever?

Delivery update

[EN] Hello everyone.

As we said in the previous update, we are in full production of the game. Today we show you some more images of the miniatures that will be included in the boxes.

Unfortunately, we have to give you the news that nobody wants to receive. Because of a series of unexpected changes in our creative team, added to other external problems, although within expected have been more damaging than we thought, the completion of the game has been delayed.

Therefore the delivery margin is set for the end of the first quarter of 2016. We regret the inconvenience and will do everything possible to reduce this period.

I think there's also some sad news that one of the Scale Games guys, Jorge Lopez Garcia, died a few days ago in a motorcycle accident.

I would expect an update from them some time soon about it, as it happened after the last update.

[EN] Hello everyone.

First, we want to greet you all the New Year. We want to tell you that the sculpting of the figures, vehicles and others has successfully finished. Also, production is almost complete and we are waiting to receive soon the printing tests from China so we are meeting the deadlines. We also want to show you a few pictures of the miniatures, rulebook and cards.

We hope you like them!

I don't think they'll beat CNY 2016, so...Q2 2016 maybe?

[EN] Hi all!

The radio silence doesn't mean we are not working, quite the opposite! We can finally show you some pictures of the printed stuff once we ruled out the first option (China) and decided to print at Madrid (Spain). We think it looks really great!

Not to necro to much but I feel its still valid as some news.

I missed the KS, and forgot about this game. Wishing it was at retail though since it really missed its date of SEPT 2015.

Would love to buy but seems it might be a little while still

Finished rulebook video

[EN] Hi guys, here's a little video of the finished edition of the rulebook. In a couple of days, we expect the finished boxes so we can start packing and shipping... finally! We'll keep you updated

Well (although difficult to tell from a blurry video) the art & printing quality looks great! As do the pages and pages of alternating grey & white tables.

As with just about every non-English native small Kickstarter, the concern is over the quality of the rules and (just as importantly) the quality of the language used to convey them! The Kickstarter rules pitch looked quite appealing, honestly, but who knows what the end result will be!

Oh, and we never saw anything about the thick card terrain, did we? It was never going to be #1 selling point, but Scale claimed it would be thick and durable (and reversible somehow!).

Good point about the translation (potential) issue - I'm not sure if they had a native English speaker proofread it, or released it for community review?

If they did - great!

If they didn't...uh oh.
