The Kastellan robots remind me A LOT of the description of an Human splinter sub species that the thousand sons fought in their novel. (or it might have been the space wolves in prospero burns, buts its one of the two)

And they have visibly different chest-plates as well. The 3+ ones literally have more armour. Nice touch.
I'm somewhat surprised that the poster sheet of all the units didn't include both units. It included all the other possible dual builds. Gives me hope for the Electro Priests.

I like the Kataphrons
The Ad mech release to me confirms the old 'we stole necron tech' fluff for the Ad Mech
Kataphrons are like low-tech nectron detroyers. Some very similar design elements

Waiting to see the entire AdMec line before deciding on a buy in or not. Great models so far, but how many books?

Of course. This is going to be one of those armies that you let your opponent spend about 20 minutes or so putting up his figures, then you crush them within 5 minutes, at the latest. WHEEE!!!!!
