How does it compare to Da'Ish in the last 15 months?

Wrong is wrong, but orders of magnitude difference in scale (of funding/membership/damage done/and so on) ought to make a difference when you analyze which is currently worse.

Purple Drank doesn't actually have any grape in it. I also don't recommend it if you like your liver.

Hey! Purple Drank is perfectly safe. It's ingredients are sugar, water, and purple.

Not Purple Drank, but "grape drink" either in generic non name brand grape soda or grape kool aide. It falls into the same boat as drinking 40s.

Back in the 70's they had Grape Ape soda and the poor kids got "grape drink", which was kind of the same stuff but not the brand label.

Oh. I like grape soda. I've also heard Orange Soda as a thing too. I like orange soda.

I used to talk to one of the black guys I worked with about malt liquor too. Like, not offensively. I genuinely like malt liquor. I don't get stereotypes. Tasty gak is tasty.

Back in the day if you were on food stamps you typically couldn't get any name brand items, so if you were poor you got Grape Drink which came in cans like this one but they had purple text that said grape drink. Cans with pull tabs that would cut your lip and they also tasted like crap as they were watered down "close enough" knock offs. It was so cheap they didn't even bother with graphics, just a white can. That part of where it gets the "ghetto" image from. They also had bags of cereal, not boxes, but actual clear bags full of puffed wheat or whatever. That's what you got if you were poor, I grew up on that stuff and it was terrible. I was also the only white kid on the block.

I remember that, and big blocks of Govment cheese. I'll never eat macaroni and cheese again.

Our pantry was stocked with black and white labeled items.

And at least a couple of times Mom brought home those 5 pound blocks of Gov't cheese.

I remember heading into the rooms to pick out clothes and shoes that were free. One set of shoes, along with three pants and three shirts
