:( RIP (again) Kroak.
Jesus christ, are they SERIOUSLY fething squatting lizards ?
I protested this in several threads, and it seemed inconceivable... but i'll admit that it looks like i was wrong. It may well be a magical barrier or defence shooting lightning, but to me it looks like some form of propulsion, as it seems to be pushing nearby pillars over. There are other floating structures in the background.
No. It's a spaceship. It's going to serve as the landing pad for the Space Marine chapter sent to quell the heretical uprising.
Oh.
Well.
Keep Slann and Carry On then.

I have:
Slann
priest (new one)
lots of saurus mostly shield and spear (I think 60+)
lots of skinks mostly javelins (I think 50+)
8 cold one riders
3 ripperdactyles
1 bastilidon
1 stegadon
A saurus character from another company
army book
magic cards
some misc swarms.
It was a project mostly made up of second hand stuff but its pretty good condition. It was 3rd project on my painting list this year.
If you are interested PM me and I will take some pics of it tonight with some more exact numbers.

Or turn mine all into space lizards, as was mentioned before. I got the bits to do it.

Probably not feasible in hindsight, given that you're in New Zealand and I'm in the UK, though I appreciate the offer

My vague idea for mine would be that they feel like they got kind of screwed over by the universe, so they're going to team up with some orks and give the universe a good kicking.
Mainly this is because I still have my orks, it probably doesn't make too much sense.
But that's only if the Lizardmen are well and truly gone. Call me foolish, but I'm not counting this as guaranteed until it's flat out stated by GW.

I'm genuinely starting to think that a giant cop out will occur at the conclusion of end times. Tzeentch reversing time, dreams of a Slann etc. I understand that the timeline needs to advance slightly, but this doesn't feel like warhammer fantasy any more in my opinion

If the rumors of Bubblehammer come true what happened in Thanquol should indicate the Lizards are involved in some form.

I entered WHFB and GW through Lizardmen, if they are getting killed off then it would also kill my interest in Fantasy. Yet, I hope that they wont, especially with all those relatively new kits they made for them. Cant believe that GW would do that, but then again I couldnt believe a lot of things before 6th edition of 40K dropped.

I don't think Lizardmen will truly get squatted at all. They will either be a first-round army or a second-round expansion group. They're just too vital to the lore.

I think if the intention was to "squat" them, they'd have just killed them off in a suitable epic last stand.
Some folks spazzed about Wood Elves being discontinued when Athel Loren was dieing and Araloth's character and his sizeable army disappeared for who knows where and didn't show up until Khaine. Turns out wood elves came out ahead in the end(of Khaine).
Time will tell though.

That could be very true.
But the problem is the last of the Lizards have actually fled on their space ship. So unless they they land again to fight (may happen) there isnt a last stand option that looks available.
Combined with the 9th rumors of squatted lizards it looks bleak.
I mean, there is still some hope, but that hope (for me) is getting smaller.
I would love an epic battle between the Lizards and the Skaven though. Even if the Lizards die its still a cool way to go.

THe skaven actually shoot down morrsleib with a cannon they've been building for centuries. They join up with Archaon because they believe Nagash is the real threat.
Kroak simply saves a few pockets of Lustria from utter destruction.
So there some lizards alive... but yeah... most of Lustria is a burning wasteland if there's even anything left of it.

The dumb part I was referring to is that in order to escape from a moon (in space) that has been shot down by a large cannon, that dude decides to escape...to space.

I have heard the skaven blow up the moon, then the moon bits rain down on lustria, then the surviving lizards leave.
You may be right, but you gotta admit, what a lame as piece of writing. Honestly that is without a doubt one of the more ludicrous things GW has written.
With the rumours for 9th edition I may as well sell early and clear some space for something else. I didnt get to play fantasy much anyway.
So yea a bit rash, but better overall that I will simply sell them.
