It doesn't update too often, although part of thr problem is they kept having voice actors leave.

Attack on titan's porblem is that each characters has a single distinguishing quality and that's it. they don't really have personalities. it makes it so it isn't the least bit shocking when they get eaten.
Also, A friend gave me the idea to watch those "top 10 anime *insert genre here* so I'm going to watch some of those.

Well the tone gets a drab more serious, but for the most part light and sweet.

Speaking of Episode 8's title is "I'm not a Hotel!" so confirmation for Yamato FINALLY showing up in the anime!

I remember liking these characters.
Now I just hate most of them

I hated them when I first saw it.
So annoying.
Except, ironically enough, for Excalibur. He's pretty fun.

death the kid was the only interesting character. Also, I understand his obsession with symetry.

I just watched Wasurenagumo. What started out adorable got depressing, pretty damn quickly. Great animation though. I'd love to see what whoever made has done/will do.


I've been reading a lot of manga lately, rather than anime.

I think I might start buying actual physical copies of the Daily Life With Monster Girls Manga... ugh, my weeb level keeps increasing.

They ARE pretty fun and the girls are cute. I feel sorry for the poor bastard who has to take care of them though

I have the entirety of rave master at home. The earlier volumes were a bit annoying to get a hold of.


I'm kind of weird in the fact that a good 90% of the time (probably more), I prefer manga to anime adaptations. I'm a big reader in general (really fast as well), so I have always had my own ideas of characters' voices, and it's always a bit weird for me to hear something different. Plus it helps me avoid bad voice acting and animation.

I can empathize with Co'tor Shas. The past few years I've been more likely to read manga, comics and graphic novels over anime. Mostly for the pacing. I've been crunching through some series that I've missed out on lately. Is there an "Official Dakka Dakka Manga Thread"?

Finally finished Chaika: Avenging Battle.



Now I can finally start watching stuff from this season. Hopefully now that I subscribe I won't get so far behind this time.

Or just get used to the concept of a mostly vegetarian diet.

I think everyone would choose that option Last I checked there was a spider girl too and she was damn cool. Be sure to find the hentai/ecchi 4-5 panel comic strip (or Yonkoma) that were the inspiration for the full manga (IIRC). They are cute and funny.

That's a pretty good series. Although, I tend to read manga in the cafeteria, and that is one that I can't.

Wait, that's where the series came from? Seriously? Huh. Might have to check that out, now.

You know, after watching Redline and a bunch of AMV's for it, I really want it made into a series.

That animation, despite being 6 years old, is still some of the best ever made that I've seen, the action was really good, the story was really the only thing lacking.

Though I've heard it took 7 years to animate it......

I stopped my current stuff and plowed through the entirety of the No Game No Life anime yesterday. Was fun for the concept alone, even if a bit unoriginal in execution. The single season was enough to sate for me.

Redline's pretty solid.

In other news, I know Testament of Sister New Devil might be as stereotypical as it comes, and it's not even as good a "harem fantasy fighter" as Worldbreak, buuuuuuut Maria is quite possibly the best comedy character I've seen in an anime in a long time.

I was considering watching that, sounds like it might be fun.
