If you thought the series was "F"ed up, Rebelion will leave you curled up in the fetal position. I heartily recommend it.

I hope they still have a healthy dose of adventuring going on!
Edit: Zapp is still awesome as feth, Chain is highly underrated, and Looks like we got some more answers as to who the kid Leo met on the train is...
Spoiler:
Currently "Black" is hanging out with the King of Depravity, has ditched the glasses, his eyes are red, and has spiked his hair (we've seen him before in the end credits). His real name is currently unknown, I'm not going to say that it's "Blank" like he's from NGNL, but that's what we're given. He's also "One of the Thirteen Kings"

DR:80+S++G+M+B+I+Pwmhd11#++D++A++++/sWD-R++++T(S)DM+ Ask me about Brushfire or Endless: Fantasy Tactics
Is turning out to be an interesting one. I am 3 episodes in and am enjoying it. It is a bit bizarre. But they have done a Ton of world building so it makes "sense".
And I am very impressed with their animation and artistic style.
Sir Isaac Newton may be the deadliest son-of-a-bitch in space, but John von Neumann is the logistics officer that eats your problems and turns them into kit.
You know, of all the Anime that might deserve a Miniatures game, Big O probably ranks at the top. I think it'd be sweet- you get a Megadeuce (or two) that you can upgrade with things like piloting skills and 'luck tokens' and shields and whatnot, then battle it out in a cityscape with 1 or more opponents. Upgrades could also include things like 'tunnel insertion' or ambushes, maybe stuff like having specific buildings booby trapped- things that don't change the offensive capability or overall abilities of the Megadeuce itself.
GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.
If yer an Ork, why dont ya WAAAGH!!

Could see that.. something in the battle tech scale maybe, might even fit on a smaller 2x2' space for which it would be relatively cheap/easy to supply card buildings Could have little squads of tanks and or police cars that were largely ineffectual, and maybe tiny 6-10mm figures for Roger and some of the other main characters, for scenarios where you have to evade the enemy Megaduece until you can get your own deployed.
Watched the half-season of Nura: something something yokai something demons something clan on Netflix. I can barely remember the name, some kind of kid thats also a demon in modern day japan, heir to an old clan of them. Seems kind of neat, gave me an almost Inuyasha like vibe, probably 'cause so many demons. Unfortunately, the part on netflix is like the first half of the second season... may track more of the show down elsewhere, just as likely to forget about it. Time to find something else to watch now...
If you want a Big O miniatures game, look for Monsterpocalypse. I don't think it's made anymore, but it's exactly what you describes with a couple giant robots/monsters fighting in a destructible city scape.
Finished that other show, started watching Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. Somewhat interesting, there have already been space battles, though that's probably done.
The giant robo is kind of chibi, almost a little off-putting in terms of appearance but... it is potentially one of the most individually accurate and devastating mecha I've seen recently. I've seen entire battleships shoot less 'kill all the things' lasers and it just deletes softer targets like people.
I have also observed that the show is meta post apocalyptic. It is both water world *and* knights of sidonia. I'm not sure how much of each at this point TBH, the space stuff may just be the set up.

Yeah, that Mecha is SERIOUSLY op as all get out. Good series.

You're correct. The space battle in the intro scene is first and last. The show is somewhat awkwardly trapped between coming of age and poor critique of humanity. I found it disappointing, the first parts show great promise but later they're simply dimmed by poorly presented elements.

More on topic i just saw 2 episodes of arslan senki. Pretty sure that blonde haired slave from earlier that arslan saved was actually a girl otherwise they had a gay moment together. To be fair arslan is a boy that looks like a girl so it's only fair if he ends up with a girl that looks like a boy i guess.
In episode 2 the battle is going badly or is off to a bad start. According to the description it goes really badly but we'll see. It appears there are plenty of scantily clad women later and even in the case of the queen ridiculous sized boobs. Apparently the king chose well with that but arslan's parents seem very unkind and unforgiving to everybody. Perhaps the mom was less so but we barely got to see her so far if that'll even be a thing.

Not anime related but might give you a giggle.
In my math class, we have a very important assignment that primarily involves budgeting, including paying rent for an apartment.
So, I could not successfuly complete this budget, so I made two budgets.
One going on the regular assumption, an unsuccesful one.
The second detailing how I could live on the street and thus make the budget by a large margin.
Yep, On an actual math assignment, I wrote that I couldn'tdo it properly so I would instead be a bum.

The proper answer was probably to get a roommate or 3. In the context of anime 1-3 eligible female roommates.
