Ya F91 was really interesting, but I'm upset that they just went for the movie. You have to read the manga to get the full story :/ Also there are a lot of good UC era mangas out there, so I would super encourage reading some of those

Well I just finished watching steins gate and Tokyo ghoul, both of which I quite enjoyed.

From what I recall, F91 was supposed to be a full 52 episode series, and they wrote the first like twelve or thirteen episodes, but had some sort of internal staff problems and the project floundered, so they re-wrote it as a single film. I haven't watched in in many years, I remember the ending also being somewhat odd, but the animation, sound, and suit designs I remember being fantastic.

I mean seriously. Has there ever been a protagonist more unlikable than this guy? At least certain persons previously mentioned learned a lesson at some point in their show that made them better people by the end. This guy just starts off a dick and goes nowhere but down from there!

Watching SAO again too so I can watch the second set in context. They gotta do more abridged episodes, much funny, original is OK too though.

Working through durararararara but its kind of random and slow at points .

They did explore it for a bit in ZZ, but no one saw that! In ZZ there is a young newtype named Elpeo Ple, she eventually dies in the series, but they clone her and introduce a cyber newtype named Ple Two. This carries on into Unicorn with the character Marida Cruz, who is Ple Twelve. But otherwise, they don't really get too much into cloning. The list is basically Ple Two, Marida, all the other Ple clones, Full Frontal, a clone of Char that only existed in a novel and radio drama, and Glemy Toto. Glemy created the clones in ZZ, but apparently is rumored to be a clone Gihren Zabi.

I have not gotten to SEED Destiny yet, soo... I'll keep this feth on my radar.

Shinn Asuka from Mobile Suit Gundam seed Destiny.

To be fair, seed destiny is one of the worst shows in gundam history. Even if you remove Shin.

Ah yes, Shinn Asuka, that was the guy I was remembering. What the actual feth were the writers thinking with that character, he's one of the protagonists, but they go out of their way to make him a whiny self entitled brat that goes out of his way to make you actively hate him. Awful, awful writing.

Man, really disappointed with the last episode of Noragami Aragoto

So I saw The Seven Deadly Sins on my Netflix. Decided "Why not?" watched the 1st episode. Stayed up to watch 9 episodes leading to going to bed a 4AM

Seven Deadly Sins is a fantastic shoenen series, well written, decently animated, funny. I'm excited for the second season next year?

^I'll have to give it a try once I'm done slogging through SAOII. There are some pretty neat parts, and like the first season/series parts I don't care for as much. Still, more entertaining to me than some of the stuff I've watched recently. Don't feel like I've wasted my time or anything.

I gotta say though... if Kirito's harem gets much bigger, he's gonna have to convert it to a raid.

I’m most of the way through 7 deadly sins, am enjoying it.

I think overall SAO2 was more consistent the the first series. The first series was very good in the first half, but the second half was actively bad IMHO. While SAO2 is not as good as the first half or the first season, it’s much better then the second half, and maintains a decent level of quality throughout.

I’m also watching Durarara, it’s a little hard to keep up with who’s who, and what tangled plot they are involved with a/o know about. Also a little grim in spots. But overall worth watching.

I. Think I feel the same about SAOII. Durararararara too, may still give it another go though.

I don't mind Kirito's harem, because it's not so blatant as others and there is the clear acknowledged "winner" and no one tries to usurp her. What I hate is the rest of Kirito's over the top Mary Sue-ness that they really crank up to eleven in the second season.

While not 11, he's always been pretty bad from a Mary-Sue POV. As a protagonist, I’m not fond of him at all. The overall story and supporting characters I do quite enjoy though.

Yeah the Mary-Sue-ness was pretty rough. Nobody can beat the dodge game (basically same thing as that quarters-on-a-shelf-hope-yours-knocks-a-pile-off-game) because they rely on a game mechanic that makes things easier to dodge. Kirito's answer? feth your noob-centric cheater mechanics, I'll fly that gak manual (fuggin Tanikaze... they should totally hang out), and then go on to play in the biggest gun-game competition with a SWORD. Bwahaha. He does get marks for both his sheer audacity AND having a light saber though.

The only thing that bothers me about the pseudo-harem is that he's hogging probably half of the chicks that even play ALO. From what I could tell at the BoB, he stole the only good female player from GGO to add to his ALO harem. Spread the love around dude... And all Klein can do is hang out and wish they'll all stop pining after Kirito (well or find a lady his age as he's what 6-7 years older than the rest of them?).

SAO II was definitely more consistent than SAO I, but I felt like the Gun Gale Online arc was very abrupt and rushed. That honestly could have been expanded into a full 26 episode story arc and been much better for it.

The whole story line with Yuki and Asuna though. My god damn feels...

@GrimDork- you don't seem to understand that Klein is part of the Harem! He's the token dude. Though, by that metre, he's also the first one that Kirito met so anime logic dictates that he's the one Kirito ends up with at the end.
