Thanks, guys! Yeah, maybe started isn't the right word... it's almost ready for a basecoat!

The sails are made from cardboard GW boxes. Most of the underlying body is as well. The outer layer is plasticard and 40k bitz. I once went to a GW store in Columbus, Ohio to play and was not allowed to use some models. Apparently all models need to be "mostly" GW. So I build with GW boxes now and take pictures before spraying!

The ropes are craft yarn, just really thin. I also coat them with superglue after tightening them to give them some rigidity.

I love the Ork vehicles in particular. I'm building my own at the moment, too, and these are great inspiration.

Been working on a Bolly Boyz Formation. These guys are converted mostly from Nobz, though I purchased a Meganobz kit too. All the plating is cardboard and/or plasticard with 40k bitz strewn throughout.

I'll be running each 5-man squad with two Saws each. The saws (and some of the klaws) are kitbashes from my bitz bin.

And one squad that's almost fully painted. Still have to do some highlights and pick out some detail. And of course add some blood on the klaws & saws!!!

Got some Nobz about finished. Still need to pick out details, including blood and rust. Also need to finish their bases.

Thanks, and I definitely get the criticism about the barrels. I usually just dab some black on the ends to make them table-top ready. Oh well.

aaaaaaaaand some Tankbustas! 30 in total. The first batch of ten are pretty straight forward, really just being the rokkits in the regular Boyz kit. (These are the painted ones).

The next 20 are heavily converted. The whole bitz bin came out for these guys!

Well..... I did it.

Presenting: my Counts-As Wolf Lord on a Thunderwolf! He's equipped with a Stormshield, Krakenbone Sword, and two Fenrisian Wolves. The Mortarch really stands out amongst the pack of T-Wolves. Overall, I'm happy with how he turned out.

This is looking so great, from the models themselves to the paintjob. And what a glorious hunting party it will look like !

Time for some (rare on this blog) WIP shots. Working on a group of Wulfen for the Dark Mechanicus. Relatively simple kitbash with CSM heads, though the hair was cut off and replaced.

The fun part of the conversion were the Thunder Hammer / Storm Shield fellas. Used WHFB Chaos Sheilds and the relatively new Wrathmonger kit to make some whirling, wicked looking Thunderhammers. Let me know what you think!
