This might bring me back into the game (assuming I had left by then), if The USS Thunderchild has a particularly fluffy rule - like Biggs Darklighters in X-Wing, but a little less powerful perhaps: "Other friendly ships at Range 1 cannot be targeted by attacks if the attacker could target you instead."

Wife and I had discussed our 'second faction', she'd said she wanted feds and I could take the klingons... On seeing the Akira, I just went and told her we're switching out.

OK I was looking at it on my Phone so it is going to be "Year of Hell" from Voyager, so that is possibly a MU Voyager.

The Constitution is is from "Balancenof Terror" the refit didn't exist yet, but as in the past the prizes don't always have to do with the episode, nice to see more TOS love.

The Facebook group discussion has the Voyager mini matching the "Warship Voyager" from Heroclix.

Akira class has me wanting to play with mine in STO again.

Nebula is nice, FINALLY, Vrax is awesome, and another K'Tinga is definitely welcome!

I was thinking it would be nice if the Bioship Bets was a smaller ship. Something in the neighborhood of 24-26pts. That would make it easier to fly a complete 8472 fleet.

I'm so excited about the Thunderchild, I might actually pre-order 5 of them.

Akiras are my fave Federation ships. Bugger...

Dominion already has pretty much ALL of its' ships. Galor, Keldon, Hideki, Breen BC, Jem HAdar Attack Ship, Jem Hadar Battleship, and the JH Battlecruiser.

Dominion are hardly lacking, , they just got retail fighters and they get the Reklar in April. I am sure we haven't heard the last from our Vulcan friends

Dominion was also part of the prize for RIF 3, which even ignoring the Borg/Dominion stuff, the Trager and Macet both seem really decent.

The Vulcans have the T'Pau from Reunification. And don't the Dominion get 2 or 3 ships from the Son'a?

They finally made an Akira mini, so anything could happen.

There are potentially 4 ships from the Son'a, the command ship, the cruisers, fighters and that big giant thingy with sails and so on for harvesting immortality dust...



And if they widen the scope to include video games, as the recent collaboration competitions with STO might indicate... Then there's a whole lot more available.

Ya but I was really hoping that there would be another battle Cruiser. I also don't think that the Reklar a Galor class ship is really going to change the course of how the dominion are played. But there may be some good tech or crew cards in it.

I don't know about the Battle Cruiser, I'd prefer they fixed the Battleship along with an amazing founder admiral...

Ya we need an incredible founder admiral that boosts all of our ships because the gul dukat admiral is pathetic.

I'm pretty Sure the Son'a aren't members of the Dominion.

In fact, Adhar Ru'afo mentions the dominion as a separate faction. The Son'a would be independent if anything other than their own faction.

Here's the quote in full.

They were a Dominion ally, they signed on just as the Breen had done.

During the Dominion War, the Federation suspected that they were manufacturing large quantities of the Dominion narcotic ketracel-white in the Son'a colonies in the outlying areas near Cardassia and the Bajoran wormhole. In the later days of the war, a recently constructed facility indeed existed at their Devos II outpost.
