I wanted to paint it as a copy of the Highway Code, but I decided not to go too silly.

Been working on Fulgrim. He's a very delicate fella.

Fulgrim. these are all the parts that I can't glue on until after, apart from those tiny Eagles, which are just a joy to cut out.

BC if there is one model to add sparkles/glitter to it is fulgrim, you can do it around his eyes because we all know fulgrim would totally go for that glitter concealer.

Stay safe Buttery! Lots of blood in the recent pics, don’t want this to turn into a Khorne project.

And wow, that’s a lit of fiddly, tiny, detail work. Looking forward to seeing him done.

The instructions for Fulgrim don't exist on Forgeworld's site any more. Used to be there was a url to follow on his packaging. There are large areas with no explanation, such as the lappets (Eagles), standard top, cape construction, etc.

The ribbons on his cloak have large lumps of flash in between them that look dreadful if viewed from behind. I carved those out, and then fumbled the scalpel. One of those tiny cuts that just wouldn't stop. It wasn't serious.

I... actually don't know. Help?

There's no way you can cut those eagles out without blood sacrifices to Khorne, willingly or not.

Every single project I have ever done has resulted in blood. :(

Those tiny .0001 mm cuts that never stop are the worst.

They're pretty easy, it's stopping them from pinging away into the carpet is the issue.

I have kitties and they spread this sawdust litter far and wide, I'm not sure it'd work. I have to vacuum daily, so we'll see.

Ignoring the fact I only have fishnets.

You could just put double-sided tape on the cats and let them loose.

I do like to have a cat nearby when modelling, because if something drops off the table, they walk over and stare at it.
Found many dropped bits that way.

The strappy things are part of the Cingulum Militare. Pturges are medals, or medallions generally worn on the chest.

The provided paperwork labels those weighted straps as pturges and lappets. Take it up with Forgeworld. They also use those words on the Horus kit.

Hilarious that FW have apparently got that wrong!

Sorry to see you had to pull out of the contest. Do we need to worry about the cat?
