You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this day. Glad the gits finally realized how their fanbase wanted this to happen for a long time now. Has anybody had experience? How long has this been up?

GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.

It's always puzzled me why they don't license out their IP this way.

I don't think that these are official. People often create things based on copyrighted things on RedBubble. It is basically a site where people can have their artwork pasted onto shirts and other stuff and then sold.

Nothing on there site says they're officially licensed. This is not GW's doing.

Really a shame.

I'd totally go for a Carcharodon one myself.

That's strange, I don't see the Blood Angels in there anywhere. Am I missing it?

Yeah, going by the quality of the images, the lack of any actual statement about them being licenced apparel, and the fact that they're being sold somewhere other than the GW website, there is very little chance that GW had anything to do with this.

This is another example of how GW have mismanaged their IP. PP learned from GW mistakes and has a jersey for each faction, made of nice material and also showing off the warmachine or hordes logo. After 25 years GW still haven't figured out that apparel is not only easy profit for very little work, it's free advertising and turns your fans into walking billboards for your company. I don't even have some fancy business degree and I can figure out that there is basically zero downside to making t shirts with faction logos...

Aye, even smaller operations than GW can easily do it. Like some popular webcomics for instance. And they don't even have to make the shirts themself - there's companies that do it for you. They have lines of clothes, pottery and other stuff and you just choose which of your logos/mottos/pictures should be available on which product. It's a license to print money.

I remember back around the time 6th ed came out GW ran a promotion where if you spent a hundred bucks or so in one of their stores you got a free t-shirt. I've still got it. a nice one with the logos of each of the chaos gods on it. always puzzled me why they didn't lisence out some shirts.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Considering how they will toss the IP rights to any shovelware developer looking to make a mobile game, it boggles my mind why they won’t license shirts.

Agreed, I'd probably buy one. Definitely one of the mugs and maybe a bag.

They used to make tshirts. I had a couple of the chaos ones using artwork from the Realm of Chaos books and I just wore my old John Blanche tour shirt not too long ago.
But considering their inefficiency at everything else, not surprised they havnt licensed them out.

Sigh...

Every few weeks there's a thread that points to some hopeful change that GW is undergoing, showing that they've finally recognized one of their many oddities and are attempting to address them. But it almost always ends up being the case that nothing has changed and things putter along as they have before. I'm not sure why I remain hopeful every time I see these sort of threads.
