Threatening govenment employees who come to legally seize assets per a writ is definitely a crime. Washington hanged people who did that. I miss Washington and his oaky smile.

I'm assuming you'd stop when you reached people who weren't breaking the law? If that's meant to be hinting at some terrible slippery slope it isn't doing a good job.

Breaking a contract is not generally legal, but assets can be seized.

HOWEVER I'm pretty sure not paying your taxes is a crime. As Al Capone.
ALSO threatening people coming to legally seize property because you broke a contract is also a crime.

Yep. You have folks like Al Sharpton dodging taxes for years and he's a frequent guest at the White House.

Bundy is out to lunch, but from what my family down there told me, it was like the BLM was going out of it's way to piss off the law abiding citizens with methods that really stirred the pot.
When they tried shipping unpapered cattle to auctions here in Utah, they were stopped at the border because their methods were putting healthy herds up here at risk.

There are no grounds to arrest him that I am aware of in regards to his nonpayment of grazing fees. He's certainly liable on a civil level, but I don't believe there are any laws broken there. I don't think he's ever been held in criminal contempt.

Agreed. There are no shortage of pictures from the standoff of people pointing loaded weapons at federal employees; which clearly run afoul of several different criminal statutes. I think it would not be difficult to indict him for incitement; as declaring a "range war" is probably not protected speech.
