And skarboyz were veterans back in 2nd/3rd editions with +1S.
Yea basically Nobs in training, they were very common in Goff armies. Another thing that helped differentiate Klan armies which disappeared. However, I'm still hoping we get Klan specific key words that unlock strategies and buffs with mono-klan armies to make my Snakebites even cooler! Thanks, and yeah for FW rules i will enjoy them for my gargantuan squiggoth, my big squiggoth and my warkopta!!!!
Typically I don't really like big miniatures, but the big squiggoth does tempt me every time I go on Forgeworld. Maybe now is the time to indulge!

While I'd love to see klanz come back, they have been gone since 4th edition, and they will not return anytime soon. The best you can hope for is a supplement for one klan.

Well I hear that there were klan specific rules in SW:A which is a good sign. They are still mentioned alot in the fluff, but you are right they have been out of the rules for a long time. I think I have a Chapter Approved somewhere for Klan specific armies in 5th edition though. If Bonesplitta's can get a codex then who knows! There must be a 'Royal Society for the Promotion of Orks' or something that we can write to

No way GW will increase the trukk's and the stompa's point costs. Their politic has always been to decrease them rather than make some units more expensive, because this way you are forced to buy many more miniatures to play even at standard formats. The stompa in particular, with a cost of 900 points no one is going to field it, which means no one is going to buy the (very expensive) model
Trukks will also probably be T5, not T6.
I expect trukks to be around 30-40 points, stompas approx 600, maybe even cheaper.

Nothing wrong with a 900 pt stompa. If it has appropriate rules. I'd expect it to be close to 40 wounds and able to fly from table to table if it points all the firepower downwards.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
And 76 pt trukks seem right with the statline they possess now. I'm pretty sure that trukks will be able to fight in mellee quite decently unlike rhinos. Who knows, maybe it's time to finally put a grabbin' klaw and a wrekkin' ball on display. Grabbin' klaw can even be something akin to witches' ability to deny falling back.

SW:A is not an identificator on new rules at all. It's a necromunda reboot.
Yea that's fair enough, but at least someone in the office piped up and suggested adding klan rules to it (assuming they weren't in Necromunda). Hopefully the same bloke was involved with Orks for 8th edition. i really like the sound of 'Da jump'. A surprise 30 Orks appearing behind enemy lines is going to be lots of fun! However, it might make units a little isolated and seems to have anti-synergy with characters like the Painboy that confer advantages by having units standing close together. I can see it being very good for some late game objective grabbing, after you have ripped the heart out of the enemy army with a big charge at the start of the game though.

Supa Mega Blasta can be fired multiple times. 2nd time, Fire again on a 2+. 3rd time needs a 5+. Fail and the gun is out of ammo for the rest of game.
Units within 6" either auto-pass or re-roll morale tests (not sure which)

11 Power Level.
Strength, attacks, and move are cut off in picture...

Also Rokkits are a flat 3 damage instead of D3. If that carries over to Tankbustas... Automatically Appended Next Post: Zugetakkat is the 'Ard Case bumping toughness to 8 but losing open topped.
Fahrende Festung is the BW ignoring the movement penalty for firing heavy weapons.
Can't really read the special rule on the right.

Lucky me, German leaks
Stompa, top to bottom:
Weapons
Big shoota
Twin-Linked Big shoota
Skorcha (hits automatically)
Supa-Rokkit (only one per turn, one use only)
Supa-Gatler (to shoot it a second time, roll a d6. On a 2+ you can shoot again, on a 1 it can't shoot ever again. To shoot it a third time you need a 5+ and it breaks on a 4 or less)
Deff kannon (becomes heavy 2d6 when shooting a unit with 20 or more models)
Mega-Choppa (chose one, second profile does 3 to-hit rolls per attack, so total of 12)
Rules
'ere we go
Explosion - when it drops to 0 points it explodes on a roll of 6 before disembarking passengers. If it does all units within 2d6 inches take d6 mortal wounds
Bigga and stompier (direct translation) - Can fall back and shoot and/or assault in the same turn. To fall back a stompa can move over enemy infantry models but must end more than 1" from enemies. A stoma gets no penalty from moving when shooting heavy weapons. Half the stompa must be obscured to get cover.
Psycho-Dakka-Blasta - see supa-gatler above
Effigy - Orks within 6" can reroll moral.
Transports 20 Orks, MA units count two.
And yes, "Titanisch" is basically super-heavy
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Warboss:
Equipped with TL-Shoota and PK, no surprise here.
Can switch twin-linked shoota for any item from the shoota or special weapon list (whatever that might be)
Special rules
Mob rule, 'ere we go
Waaagh! - Ork infantry which was within 6" of this model at the beginning of your attack phase may charge even if they advanced
Smash 'eads - if a <clan> unit within 3" of a friendly <clan> warboss fails a moral check, he can restore order through violence. If he dies, the unit take d3 mortal wounds, but the moral test is passed.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Battlewagon
Basically what was posted above, I'll just add:
Wreckin' Ball - model can only attack three times
Lobba can shoot models out of sight
When zzap gun overloads it deals 3 (not d3!) mortal wounds to target and one to itself
Grippin' Klaw - model can attack only once
Deff rolla - adds 3 to hit (which results in the already mentioned 2+ to hit)
Battlewagon does not get a penalty for moving when firing heavy weapons
Right side seems to be rules explaining open topped - models can shoot from the wagon unless the wagon has models 1" from it.
Transports 20 ork models, once again MA counts twice.
Edit: fixed some typos

4+ S8 AP -2 attacks hitting on 2+ is pretty hard to beat. It's basically a monstrous creature now. I don't think they will be in direct competition anymore.

Depending on how much the deffrolla costs, and the removal of reinforced rams as far as we know, it looks like the standard fare is definitely be using it as a transport monstrous creature, smashing things flat with its deffrolla.
