Jon Snow and his male relations have always been the ones that did nothing for me - and seemed the most likely to get killed due to thier inflexibility and foolish actions - Jon had very strong plot shields till now...........................

Some of them might be as his followers left with various leaders........they may not remember Dany fondly.

Yes but she didn't tell him to fly away from Meereen, just to get his ass off the ground to stop him becoming a pin cushion.

Drogon might understand her and her Valyrian commands, but she still does not know how to control him.

Drogon does what Drogon wants.

Drogon will mirror Daenary's ruling skill. Right now, she knows a few things but utterly fails at the job. As time goes by, GRRM will make her become a better ruler, mostly by Varys and Tyrion ruling for her, and she'll get better at controlling Drogon and his two dragon sidekicks.

The Freys only mattered because of their stupid bridge, though. The Boltons are Wardens of the North. Politically, they'll have to be at least kind of important.

Were some of those Bolton cavalry from the Eyrie perhaps?

Techinically the Freys are the Wardens of the Rivers. With the tully's now deposed the Freys are now the rulers of the Riverlands.

Argueably Dany is no worse and usually better than any of the rulers in the world:

Visercys - Abused his sister, may have done worse - very similar to Joffrey.

Why would they follow him? He is a brutal, fanatical worshiper of a God that wants to burn all those who will not convert - even the Boltons still follow the old ways - like proper Northern folk.

Good summary. Tywin was, by far, the most capable heir to the Iron Throne. There's noone else left who could rule it. Daenarys, at this stage, would get on the Throne and then get murdered the very next day. If she's lucky. She just hasn't realized how the world works...but she is young and has Tyrion and Vayrys at her side. Those two are the best and strongest rulers in the entire GoT universe right now and make a perfect trio with Daenarys. Have her sit on the throne to get the power (dragons) and the public image (young fair maiden). Varys secures the rule by keeping all harm away from it with his network of spies. Tyrion rules with his vast diplomatic skills, knowledge and unbeatable charm.

Tyrion, Varys and Daenarys are Game of Thrones' holy trifecta.

Resurrected Jon Snow rules the North and does stuff.

I do wonder where the Boltons got all the horses from, though. The North HATED them. What allies gave them their horses? That's a LOT of horses that just came out of nowhere.

Bonus points for genius general Stannis not sending scouts by the way. Like, forgetting about essential general things #101.

Oh, and Cersei's body double with fake face was TERRIBLE CGI. Ugh. Cringed.

At that point I think Stannis was kinda fed up. He's lost his daughter, wife and his witch. He's had his ass kicked 2 times and only had 1 victory. He'd had enough at that point.

Oh btw, anyone noticed how Daenerys dress changed from white to blue after she left Meereen?

Yeah just watched first bit - Stannis was aware it was over when Mellisande left and it had all been for nothing but he wasn't someone who would admit he was wrong - bit like Ned Stark really - and they ended the same way.......

Oh and Jon shows what a useless leader he is - again - he does know how to give up and sending his best friend away to safety is exactly the wrong move......not seen his wolf yet - gives him somewhere to hide I guess.

There might well be a second seige of Winterfell when the Walkers breech the wall......Ramsey might be able to recruit some of the canabal wildlings if any surived.......... Pity Ramseys girlfriend died - she was fun.

In the books, they didn't just leap off the wall and hope for the best. There were snow drifts piled against the wall to break their fall. Still a risk, but at least there was a chance of surviving. Though I believe Jeyne "Arya" Poole does break her leg or something. The show runners were too lazy to sign post that clearly on the show. Maybe the special effects budget was getting low. I bet next season there'll be a big snow drift that wasn't there before.

Wasn't the bolton thing covered previously? Ramsey convinced his dad to let him because he wanted to go out and kill instead of have a boring siege.

I'm guessing the huge fluffy snowbank at the bottom of the wall helped sansa and reek out a bit. Also, I think they may not care right now. Better to die now than live with Ramsey. In fact, that's just what Sansa said not two minutes before. Chances are Reek agrees with her.

Nope - Ramsey took 20 men out on a raid - went very well - there was no sign of vast amounts of cavalry however - they are not great in winter - but to be fair - Stanis's men were unlikely to stand againsat anything.

Just watched next bit - Ahhh poor Mycella and Jamie - pretty girls don;t have much luck in GOT? Although the Sand Snakes - apart from being useless in a fight seem to have a death wish.

Tyrion and Varis - awesome - great scene between them and Dany's followers

I really don't know where the Sand Snakes are heading to now. What is their greater idea? Just piss of their dad? Why? At this point (series-wise) they just come over at a bunch of bad fighters with emotional issues that want to be evil for evil's sake / want to watch the world burn. ...and yes, agree. MUCH, MUCH better than the books. 2 really bad episodes, but overall, good season. Worst season so far, but "worst" on this level doesn't really mean much ;D

Jon I am almost 100% sure is going to come back to life, simply because of the amount of foreshadowing, and the red lady showing interest in him.

she is likely still in prison wasting away for a while until her mother figures out how to counter the crazy religious types...


might be that the zombie-mountain does away with the whole religious cult that cerci got started too, maybe he will get rid of margery too?


I am really excisted to see zombie mountain in action, that was probably the biggest tease for the next season for me

The flaming sword guy is called Thoros of Myr, sort of a Red Priest but he's more of a freeblade now.
