Thanks, guys. Important note - That Skitarius is just an experiment, and I plan on keeping the Mars colors on the rest of my Skitarii. The current situation is just a quality pass, because I've improved as a painter since I started this army.

Oh, that's more a fault of my camera than anything else. I actually had 2 Hazard Suits, a Commander, 4 Marker Drones, 6 Stealths, and 5 Crises. They just came in so that they never all showed up at once.

If there's one thing I'm good at, it's keeping my Suits out of LoS. Difficult, but fun.

The mission in question was a modified version of "Last Step Backwards". In the original mission, it is Cadians v. Chaos Space Marines.

The original mission has 500 points worth of Cadians with:
-Platoon Command Squad
-Conscript Platoon
-Leman Russ Battle Tank(with mission specific rules allowing it to also fire as a Vanquisher, if a successful roll is passed)

vs

1000 points of CSM, with at least 3 Cultist Squads.

If you look on the sides of the board, you can see dice marking out "The Long Dry", which is an area of terrain impassable to anything but FMCs, Skimmers, and Flyers. We modded the scenario a bit to let us both play with some new toys, and had a blast.

Ahh, I see. I'm no longer up to date on 40k - in fact I can't remember if there was ever an "unfair" setup mission back when I last played. I assume this is from Fall of Cadia?

Razorback!







Tried to do a marble effect on the rear door, I think it turned out well. Sadly, chucking all the UM up on eBay. I don't have the ability to commit to them now, and I need money. Plus, this is an experiment to see if my painting is worth anything.

My Ultramarines want that Razorback for themselves so badly....

A shame that you have to sell off a good paintjob!

The weird paint blob on the Razorback gun-carapace has been fixed.

Aww. So sad to lose the 4th company stuff... I enjoyed seeing that. As far as the price goes, I'm honestly not sure what'll sell. I'd go for the absolute lowest you'd be willing to accept and hope for the best. Most people on ebay seem to be hunting for a bargain and usually pre-painted lots don't seem to get very many bids. That being said, your models are painted to a MUCH better standard than what usually passes for "pro-painted" on ebay, so I think you might have better luck than most

Nice work Verv. Love the extra bit on the back hatch. Good attempt at the marble. I've tried that before (with little success). It's tough!

Thank you! I just hit the white with a nuln oil wash and used some very thinned down black as squigglies, while the ink was still wet.

Decided to try my hand at the Swap Shop instead of eBay. Tomorrow, pics of a Tau vs. Eldar battle, and my next commission, a Thousand Sons Sorceror Lord, and the Imperial Space Marine model.

Game against Eldar. I asked him to play against the Scorpion and Warp Hunter. I got my ass kicked. Got tabled and killed two Wraithguard. Had tons of fun, though.

Man, Scorpions make me blush when I see them, they're so pretty and deadly
