One thing to point out about the henge- they mention it being only the FIRST of the large terrain pieces so far.

My wallet finds that worrisome.

I don't know how keen I am on the expansions. If there really is more cohesion, I might be persuaded.

I did like Expansion One though- it was almost as wide of selection of stuff as the actual core set.

I noticed that about the scenery. I hope they have some kind of sci-fi scenery planned for this one. Maybe a small building? A small, plastic building that requires no assembly and is cheap could be useful to a lot of sci-fi gamers, especially Infinity players.

A generic cottage or small wooden building would probably get just as much traction as a scifi one.

Escenorama has a set that IMO would be perfect for being bones-ified.. in theme if not design. It's made out of chunks that can be built into ruins, full buildings, two story buildings, etc..

I wish it was abit more detailed. It's not anything I couldn't just knock out with abit of pink-foam in a a hour. But I will admit that it would be alot more durable/longer lasting then something made of pink foam. Thus why I'm still tempted by it.

Damn, that's a awsome idea.

I suspect The Henge will have a very poor cost/value ratio for those of us who have to pay shipping.

It's $49 just to ship the core set to Australia, and $60 with 1 each of the add ons so far, I don't think the cost/value is going to get better

I suppose it's fairly obvious now that this is not a ROW friendly kickstarter, unless you just want to get it because of lack of availability otherwise.

I will keep my wave 1 pledge for now, but I expect I will cancel it before the end.

Given that the Reaper webstore does free shipping over £60, it will probably make sense to wait and pick up the few bits I actually want at retail.

If I was in the US, I would deffo stay in as at $100 the value should be there even with a LOT of minis that will never see any use or daylight

I'm going to sit tight to wait and see what Victoria Lamb's contribution to this all is going to be. Got good hopes for that and it may just make this all worthwhile for me.

I'm currently in for a dollar, but with how long I'd be waiting to get my pledge anyways, I might just wait until they hit their site after the KS. The only thing really grabbing me is Stonehenge, because I saw someone on the Warmahordes subreddit talking about making it into a terrain piece for Circle, and since my fiancee plays Circle and I'm Legion, it would be awesome to make the Henge half Circle and half Legion as well.

Edit: They're going to make a Mrs. Bones model, right? She looks awesome.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

Is it me or does this seem to be moving a bit slower than last campaign? Came pretty close to breaching a million first day with Bones2 right?

There is something about those Ogres that make me think of naked mole rats. (I know that I am going to get them, but I don't think that I will use them as ogres....)

How are the shipping fees handled post-campaign? Via Paypal?

I like Ogres, naked mole rat and all.

I must be off my game because, I didn't realise that the "invisible" hereos were going to be transparent. I just thought they were suppossed to be behind the scense kind of guys

Reaper's lengthening the early SG's, then will shorten the mid-funding SG's, to avoid the usual mid-funding lull most KS's have.

Remember that Reaper usually has October and December promotions, so buy direct from them then! Buying from the website is more profitable per miniature for Reaper because they sell at full MSRP and there's no retailer or distributor cut, so that's why they can provide "free" shipping. You still have two weeks to make your decision!

With Ogres and a Fomorrian as the current centerpiece, this is giving off a pretty serious Little Keep on the Borderlands vibe now. All we need are some bugbears and a beholder, though the Lizardmen are a real easy stand in.

Credit card, webstore style. I forget exactly which, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Stripe.

If you use the pledge calculator it will tell you how much to add to your pledge for shipping.

I dropped around $20 on 2 scenery sets and a couple of the exclusives with Bones 2, and am very happy with what I received for that pricetag.

A friend and I might split a core pledge this time, and a couple of those add ons are awfully appealing.
