The Stormsurge is gorgeous!

I hope the legs are not fixed in a single pose like the Imperial Knight legs.

Not too sure about the new firewarrior heads. They don't really match the current heads that firewarriors and pathfinders use. Hopefully clearer pictures will sway me

Crisis suits featured behind the Storm Surge look new as their chests are pivoting around the waist. In the current design, the waist is molded into the chest.

The commander pictured in the front cover of White Dwarf has a very different pose than the current fine cast and there is some kind of shield generator connected to his arm that I am not familiar with. Also some kind of attachment on his right thigh that is not the current bonding knife.

Wow, those are some really pretty walkers. I also don't agree at all that the big guy looks disproportionate. Looks no more so than a really beefy AT-ST crossed with a mecha from Ghost in the Shell. It's obviously meant to be a walking gun platform, not a traditional battle suit like the Tau usually have. I personally love the new variant, because it's nice to see something that doesn't just look like a bigger crisis suit; mechas come in all shapes and sizes!

I've always had a vague dislike for the Tau aesthetic, but these new kits tweak it in a certain way that makes it suddenly very appealing.

They chose a much better color scheme this time instead of the baby poop yellow-brown of the past releases.

They all look great, imo. Then again, I've always had a soft-spot for all things Tau, even though I don't own a single Tau model.

I think that will have to change now..

I don't know if these two are Riptide variants. The smaller stealth one definitely isn't, and I think the missile one might be bigger than a riptide.

The first thing that popped into my head is "Arms? Where we're going we don't need arms!".

I have no idea why.

Anyway, appears to be 2 different types of Warriors, Stealth Crisis suits (because why not?) and a giant thing that's a cross between a Yeoman and a Hollander.

Don't worry, you'll still be able to kill them all in a single round of Grav shooting.

Aw, come on. Don't disparage the Storm Surge by comparing it to the Yeoman. That is hitting below the belt!

That's what I thought as well.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Now these are really good news.

- Stormsurge: love it. Both shoulder weapons are big enough to appeal for D weapons. And SO MUCH DAKKA!

- Ghostkeel: As it's a XV9 series, it won't be a Riptide (although its hips are quite similar to one), but goes into the "smaller than a Riptide" rumour. Looks like a stealth variant of the Hazard. I can't understand what's with its left arm and the head is ugly. The thorax is pretty similar to Shadowsun's.

- Fire Warriors: awesome new helmet. Much more futuristic than the old one (which is still visible on those Pathfinders near the Stormsurge left leg).

- Crisis Suits: they are a bit different from the actual ones we have. The torso and the hips aren't pointed to the same direction and the lef shoulder pad is different.

Now all we need is the Taugis... and to Oct 17th to arrive faster!
