Subject: Robotech RPG Tactics - "Restarting" the Kickstarter Discussion
I got the Palladium update email today... and everything is still boiling with Robotech Tactics..
In other news (same email) Kevin is selling his personal collection on eBay...
Only time I know my friends and myself sold our "collection" it was to repay major bills and
the money coming in from our jobs wasn't cutting it... Last resort kind of thing
Maybe this is the last stand for Palladium.. we will never see wave 2 but we will see them go bankrupt.
Next time you are in Detroit you might see Kevin on the side of the road with a cardboard sign..

For those who actually want to see the "newsletter" (part that pertains to us) in all its glory, look upon this!
"UPDATE: Robotech® RPG Tactics™
We are in the process of making a determination as to whether we can release Robotech® RPG Tactics™ Wave Two game pieces with much fewer component parts, for fast, easy builds. We do not want to say anything more until we are certain of all the details, which we hope to have in a few weeks. We are also plotting and working on additional source material and support for the game line. Things are boiling for Robotech®. Much more to come."
...
*spanking motion*
Edit: Oh, I have run afoul of the profanity filter, but y'all know exactly what I mean.

I didn't even remembered the Robotech story (too young when broadcasted to remember) and got engaged with PB because of an older friend (nostalgia xD).
Well, at least RRT keeps me busy and so I have no time to remember WHFB (and neither time to go cry in the corner hating GW).
Going to play RRT all day long with the guys tomorrow. Yay!

Oh yeah. Definitely a "First on the fridge, first off the fridge". As soon as he fills the door, he sells some and starts doodling something new to replace them. Door gets full again, sell some more. It's like ...... money for nothin', dude! [kinda sounds like the RRTKS, doesn't it?]
And as to kowing what you mean, it's but lower down, right?

Ooooh! Intense boiling. That's a mistake, I feel. Where can they go from here?

Nostalgia's a helluva drug.
Quoted for Truth!
"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." at least there was WHFB's and it can still be played with all kinds of items for it, sadly same cannot and never will be said of RRT, except for those of us who do what PB with its 30+ years of experience has been unable to do.

Fermenting is something good, PB is that science experiment sitting at the back of your fridge you are afraid to touch.

Doing a step by step game for Nodal Wars using UEDF vs Masters forces. I know some of you don't like facebook, but if you want to help decide the fate of each side come and help. I'm taking in suggestions as to what side to move where and what to do for each activation.

That, and the pre-ks claim that PB wasn't "doing the heavy lifting".
I knew PB's reputation before signing up. I wasn't sure about Ninja Division. However, since PB advertised that this was really a ND project and they were going to be hands off, I figured it was a safe bet, even if it was still a bet.
I also thought, hey, these guys surely don't want to mess this up, they will do whatever they can to get it out the door.
Combine that with "I always wanted a miniatures game for this" and "all three generations in the same scale", hiw could I resist?
I wasn't prepared for sheer irresponsibility and an entire company that can't function on any level without a guy who's natural tendency regarding work is to not do any.

The stupid about this is that they appear to be on their way to reduce the parts count to ONE. or ZERO, as it looks to turn out.
Bah the stupidity.

Remember me... those Lancers were made in paper and toothpicks and then casted in resin, right? Or are they 3D models printed?
Good work by the way!
3D printed, and Kevin can do all he wants, but those pictures violate no laws IP or otherwise.

Congrats on getting in some games! I know that doesn't sound like something worth mentioning but it doesn't seem like the game is played much up here on Palladium's and Harmony Gold's native country or neighbor to the north. On a similar note, this game from some guys that normally host nice 40k games came up in my youtube feed over the weekend. It's in spanish as well but obviously the action isn't too hard to follow if you know the game rules. Nesbet or Albertorious will have to fill us in on any special events that they narrate which aren't visually obvious.

Almost brings a tear to my eye: well done!
I find the only way I get any interest here in the North is having stuff painted.
Unless the game looks pretty, no-one here wants to play a game they do not know.
I demoed a couple times at my FLGS, Kevin did give me a card and said he "would see what he can do" if I demo again.
I would probably get a Robotech RPG book as a prize...
Too much WW2 stuff I got to do before I can give these guys more love.

Even our beloved leader Kev wouldn't allow that. He would be in danger of being called "Stingy", "Miserly", or "[Expletive Deleted] [Censored]".
SIGNED CLASSIC 2014 Rifter issue incoming!
P.S.
Nesbet. Can't you at least put those pics in spoiler tags for our bandwidth-challenged colleagues? [mine is down to under 100b/s at times. At least the British government have promised us an upgrade in the next 12 months.
Here, I've heard that before, somewhere!]
