A thought did come across to me of, "is that a helicarrier" I ended up going, "nah, it's just some sort of old oil tanker."

It doesn't look "exactly" like the ones in the Marvel movies. It looks closer to the one in the comics.

Yeah, it was definitely a helicarrier, which is awesome. I noticed it when Negasonic Teenage Warhead tipped it over.

Only DP could bring Xmen and the Avengers together secretly in continuity.
Does it technically count as a 4th wall break of a sorts?

I enjoyed it. and supposedly it's shattered R rated blockbuster records, smoking the Matrix.
So, a sequel is now in the works.

That's called an easter egg. A 4th wall break is any time a character talks directly to the audience.

Just got back from it. I absolutely loved it, it was pretty much what a Deadpool movie "should" be.
Also, while I was initially skeptical when I saw Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the trailers (having never seen her in print in anything I've read), I personally thought the actress and Wade had great on-screen chemistry, their lines and parts were well done together.

She's a ridiculously minor character in the book...slightly more significant than 'Morlock killed off panel B'.
I agree she was great. I really liked that she had her official Xman jumpsuit on...and that we got a weird fastball special that didn't involve Colossus.

I'm sure I'll regret asking this but wtf was up with the scene where he's jerking it to the unicorn pony plush toy on his face? Is that a Brony fetish thing?

This is a great comment if you imagine Deadpool saying it in the middle of the scene.

1.) I also didn't realize it was a Helicarrier, 2.) I didn't catch Bob - so I'm kind of excited that now I have 2 things to look out for now when I go see it a second time, and 3.) Yes, I did quietly enjoy that Negasonic was wearing the 90s blue team/gold team uniform. Although a big X belt would not have been ridiculous, but I guess she's a trainee.

Flipping awesome movie! Hope they don't ruin the sequel. I love how every now and then he would talk to the camera. Funny part is you can almost imagine him talking to himself and doing that anyway. Ryan finally found a movie role fit for him.
The crashed helicarrier was cool. A universe question, who the hell funds those things because they seem like a massive safety issue and they always seem to crash and likely cost more than a real aircraft carrier.
Another universe question, did the Reavers die? I would love to see a mash up with Deadpool and the Reavers working together.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.
or Assault Terminators 3xTH/SS, 2xLCs

For an origin story it wasn't too bad. Deadpool probably did require an origin story for most people seeing the movie.
Now we just need Taskmaster and then Bob to become full a character.

Right up until the "Easter Egg" mid credit scene, I was hoping T-Ray would be the sequel's baddy. I can still hope for that. But the scene suggested maybe something else even more exciting!

I guess I don't know who Hydra Bob is.
I thought it was a regular carrier, but now I realize how silly I am to have missed that it was a heli-carrier.

I'd guess there was 2 or 3 families that brought young kids. I'm talking 7 to 12ish. I wish I were shocked but sadly I'm not, people are just oblivious
