Thanks mates,

I am waiting for all the existing north American bros to get back to me so I know how many orks we have. You guys will be on the list, I am just working out who is getting purged first!

Thanks redflex, I'll pm you, mighty generous offer!

KINGPIN54, Buttery said they weren't comfortable dealing with a South African, which is understandable to be honest, so I'm working on a way to get you an ork asap

Full disclosure: I'm lying, just looks like your ork is lost at sea.

? No I didn't. I said I was slow as balls to ship things.
Think you're confusing me with someone from Swap Shop.

I'll sort you out again KP, it may be a little, I'm not home until the weekend.

I love that the bagpipes in that set are just a cow heart or some such. At least, it looks like a cow's heart.

I'm also not seeing a second pm, Kb. But I'm not worried! Just happy to be on board.

Danke schon mein freund!

Right now I'm waiting on responses to my PMs to see who is still alive and interested in the project. I've definitely not forgotten anyone else, just allocating resources.

If anyone already has their own ork to paint and wants to donate it, go nuts. I'll give you a shipping address and reimburse all your postage costs.

If you need an ork, I definitely have one for you in addition to the original stock, either through missing painters in the US, redflex's donation, oadies donation, or butterys donation.

There have, alas, been some losses of painters - some received their orks, some haven't. Either way, I've got the patience of a chopping block, and I'd be happy to hear from lost painters!

Should we all have had PMs? Or just the ones that haven't returned minis yet?

If there are more to go out, I'm more than happy to take one or two on, so let me know what you want done! I have a different address now, so I'll need to send that to whoever is sending them out (I'm assuming BC is still covering the UK side of things?)

Only truant orks got pms, as well as truant painters in the states. Given the losses and my newly found crippling trust issues, I might relax my rule of 1 ork per painter. BUT, I've an idea for that too, so sit tight for now.

Finally I can say I've finished these guys, its only taken 3 months (sorry KB).

They are painted roughly in the Dakka Colours. I thought an army of AOBR models might look a little samey so converted them slightly just to make them a bit different (great article on Dakka if anyone is interested in it. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/242444.page )

Is it too late to send them to you for forwarding with the others Buttery Commissar?

After I'd taken the pics I noticed a few bits I missed so touched them up and also redid some of the black highlights with a lighter gray to try and make it stand out a bit more.

Hope you like them

Did these guys ever arrive BC? sry if I missed any posts saying they have, just starting to get concerned they may have been lost to the Warp (aka the UK postal system)

Apologies MG, I managed to screw up my sleeping to the point that nobody is awake when I am. So I've failed to ask home if they're there repeatedly.

This is just an open thought, but if any of us not already included took it upon ourselves to purchase an or to contribute would that be encouraged?

It looks like I missed the round of PMs but had recently decided to get some bits to make the one for my contribution. Is there yet a place to send the US ones back to once they are finished so they can be shipped back in one package?

Riverrat, you're on my list, just waiting on the other ameribros.

There are like 6 new north Americans, and 3 missing old ones, so we should be good. I'll send a new wave of pms out on Monday.

BillyC, Nurgle's blessing! It's fine mate, uk shipping is quite well organised, but I'll sort that out with you Monday too.

This thread has been really exciting to follow!

I'm tempted to offer to help, but I move about a lot recently, often don't have much internet access for months and so don't want to be sent an ork, but neither do I have any orks to contribute. So no offer to be extended from me I am afraid.

However, I will keep following the progress of this thread and most of all good luck on the project! It's been hair-squig-pullingly frustratingly fun as a reader, can't imagine what it has been like as an actual contributor!

Nareik, fancy doing a grot? If you don't get it done you can keep him, but it's letter-sized and could reach you quickly.
