Let's just say the Blood Angels have a bit of a beef with my Orks...

Here's a pic of the converted Dread, I feel like he could use some more Dakka though... suggestions, anyone?

I'd join in. Would it be a problem if one is already mostly done. Planning on doing 4 Kastelans, never got around to finishing that shizzle and they have been standing there for about two/three months.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Yes!!! Ezra, that“s what I call a delivery!

If I had known that your orks have some trouble with "de red wunz", I might have helped you - but my orks seem to have some buisiness to handle with "de jello wunz".
To your question, it might help you out, to put some rocket-launching-thing to him?!
And maybe he needs some more armour plates for resistancy???

Here are some WIP-pics of my Warboss-Dread.

(Damn, I have way too much time, even trying some new paintingtechniques doesn“t really slow me down!!!)

Give me your thoughts - advice and critics are welcome as usual!!!

Holy Mork (and Gork), that is one awesome converted Warboss

Amazing work Kustomer D!

Although my own conversion work seems to be a bit lacking in quality now.... time to add some Dakka to fix that! I'll also try to get some extra armour panels on him, just don't expect me to top your entry any time soon

That warjack, are you using Candy red of some kind? Looks like a hotrod, I like it

That's a sweet marine scheme, Polonius, given the helmets on some of those guys... looks like you may be raiding some Sigmarines for bits ehh?

Oh, I've got more options for things I could do too... I could paint a Deadzone/Warpath Strider (kind of like an IG/AM sentinel but more human shaped), a Forge Father Iron Ancestor (squatty space dwarf dreadnought) or I could paint one of my two remaining unpainted dreadnoughts. Hell... I could even make a dreadnought/armored core tank-legs style crossover if it would make people happy

Thank guys.

It's an ink technique, You start with black/grey then add highlights of stone grey. Shoot a red ink over it all. Then come back and use a light flesh tone on the highest highlights followed by a second red ink.

So long as the machine and not the pilot/driver is the focus, yeah that's fine!

What about a LSS? The only thing is that it has some scouts hanging off of it, so it might not meet the requirements there, or I have the old crashed landspeeder tempest forgeworld terrain piece that I can enter. What would you all rather see? The tempest will be stripped or just re primed.

Proof for both

Tempest is probably cooler, and better hides the weak and fleshy organic components. I still wanna make one of those LS:T conversions with the regular speeder and drop pod parts.

I grabbed three contemptors over the years, all used/built, so I had no stake in how they are armed. They were all magnetized to a greater or lesser extent, so I suppose I could always get different weapons if I wanted to, but that would required, you know, playing the game.

Here are the lads, in their black primer glory:

Spoiler:

Next, I painted the gold trim with a brown base, painted metal VMA Gungrey, the weapon bodies with VMC Basalt Grey, and scroll work/purity seals tan. I painted the base a dark grey, and hit the model with some black "goop" wash. The wash didn't quite do what I hoped, but I can go back and hit the grey with more wash if I need to.

Then I threw down a nice coat of Nightshade Purple:

I have too many things to choose from. Analysis Paralysis is going to stop me from getting an early start on this one...

Tempted to do a Strider but I kind of have plans for them that require coordination. Rhino-Dreadnought Tank-Robot could work but not without my airbrush set up... May have to default to the cyphers as I can rattle can prime and finish by brush.

That K-Rex is pretty awesome. It looks a *bit* like a toy because of the chunky details but... damn... I have trouble not liking it. So, yeah I like it

And let's be honest here, most Khorne war machines are vaguely toy-like these days.

But I agree, K-Rex looks like a lot of fun!

Thanks - it looks a lot like a big toy because it was a big toy

I'm taking the dinobot Mauler/Forgefiend joke to the next level. I just have no idea what I'd use it as, in game
