Man thats a great hobby area. Ive been meaning to set one up myself. I manage to crowd everything Im using in one corner of my table and end up with a 4 inch work space.

lol. I considered it along with a whole pile of others. I was even going to throw in a Firefly nod but cutting a hanji stencil is .......just no!!!!. Silent Hill is an obvious one too but......well, there's some more creepy stuff yet to be put in

Cheers Az. Haven't made stairs before so decide to start at the deep end and so spiral ones. Had to actually do some ........maths!!!! Eww. Just need to weather it now, attach to the plinth and fill the pool! Have a few little.....bits to add at the end too

very happy so far. 2 days to get it And the nurse finished up......bugger :/

Wednesday halfday. Waheeey. Made a solid start on the weathering, grime and rust. Usually I'd do this with weathering powders but they're out due to the crazy humidity here at the mo and therefore I can spray seal them as usual. So haven't to do it the brush way. Working out nicely I think. Gotta stop for now to take the hound to the vet.

Awesome work on the terrain, really loving that stair case and the weathering. Incredible work.

Ah the little one is grand - just the monthly visit for her; heartworm meds and a checkup.
Should hopefully get all done in time. It's the final touches where I start faffing about and burning time !!!

Splendid piece of terrain there, should frame the model nicely. Does the Nurse have its own base, or will it go directly on the vignette?

She does come with her own base but it's pretty naff so I'll mount her directly onto the vig base and the original base will go into the 'bases' drawer!!
Just finished doing all the weathering and rusting. had to do it all by brush as with this weather the weathering powders are a no no. 30min job has just hit about 3 hours! but ....i much prefer the result. very very happy with it. next......time for a little bloodwork methinks - have to take the scissors to the dog's toothbrush again

90% done, at last of the top half. Bit more blood splatter and then onto the bottom half plinth. Photo is a bit gak but you get the idea

I actually use a pigment fixer from secret weapon miniatures that is a brush on, you may want to give it a try.

Well The Nurse and her vig base is pretty much done finally. Lookin at photos now there are a few things I still need to do aand clear up. And I need to take some proper photos but after a hellishly gakky trip to Seoul yesterday, Ipad pics are the best I can manage for now!!

I have to agree with AoV, that is one f'd up fig! Genuinely disturbing, which is not something I would say often, even with all the OTT 40K stuff I see on here all the time.

I love the base (it's spot-on for creepiness) and The Nurse herself is splendidly done. The only thing I found myself wanting was another figure on the stairs, reeling back in utter horror as she spins around and fixes her gaze upon him.
