yeah,
New game based on the adventure book.

You are a veteran Space Marine of the Imperial Fists Chapter. Equipped with powerful Terminator armour and armed with the deadliest weapons that the Adeptus Astartes wield, you are a symbol of the Emperor’s might. Trapped aboard the space hulk Herald of Oblivion and the only survivor of your squad, you must fight your way through the aliens and heretics that infest the star vessel and find a way to escape the horror and return to your Chapter.

FEATURES
*Transform your phone, tablet or computer into an Imperial Cogitator!
*Holographic combat simulator brings the player face-to-face with the myriad of lifeforms on the space hulk!
*Advance or retreat! Fire weapons from a distance, or move in for close combat.
*Encounter Orks, Tyranids, Dark Eldar, Necrons and more as you explore the Herald of Oblivion.
*Access the Xenos Archive to keep track of monstrous creatures you destroy.

Is this actually a text adventure for iOS? Seriously? Hahaha.

Stuck in the snow.

Yes finally a cogitator simulator!

Hopefully there next game will be Imperatus Cogitus: Logisticus Administratus, so I can finally ascend to a new state of soul crushing tedium that only GW licensed modile games know how to deliver.

A text adventure? Dear me that is quite awesome. Still remember playing the Dicworld MUD back in the day...

I'd rather play this than that Knight game, hell if it's anywhere near as good as Ian Livingstone's adventure books it might be worth it.

Well the company appears to do licenced versions of the Fighting Fantasy "Island of the Lizard King" and "Forest of Doom" amongst others.

Has anybody played those? If so, what were they like?

My friend did a review of their Forest of Doom app here:

They get pretty good reviews on the Appstore too, but I guess it's an acquired taste for those without the nostalgia.

Thanks for the link. I may not go for the GW game but might lean for the FF adaptations.
