By rolling 7 1s to hit. The odd for that are 1/279936, or thereabouts.

A Imperial Guard Sergeant defeating a Bloodthirster in personal combat, I'm still not sure how that the hell happened.

Turn 1, Move 1,
Decided to move some Sniper Drones into a better firing position, and the cover save to go with it
Dangerous Terrain tests ensured, end up with 7 out of 9 drones rolling a 1
Even with the 50/50 Armour saves, only one of those Drones survived

They passed their moral check, thus did not end up giving First Blood, so there is at least that....

First time I had ever used Chaos and I took Lucius the Eternal as my general. In the 2nd turn of the game I charged a unit of enemy Marines and cut them down, killing the champion. Yay! A Booon!

Lucius became a spawn and died the next turn. And that my friends is why I never play Chaos. Ever.

Attempting to teach a cousin how to play, ran grey knights. First turn went to show him how psykers work so rolled two dice to activate force. Boxcars. Then rolled on the table, rolled a one, then leadership, rolled an 11, then he went ahead and rolled the double six to deny.

He doesn't think psykers are worth it, after that, I had to agree

There was a game a couple of months ago, where I took 3 LRBT with battlecannons. Didn't make a single kill all game against Tactical Marine spam.

This is fairly typical of my rolls with IG.

One time, for an Ork shooting attack, I rolled all misses. Not surprising.

The manager of my local GW plays imperial guards. he fired a bunch of weapons at once.

These threads come up a lot, but I like to add my bits to them when they do.

For me my best two unluckiest roles:

Nurgle Havocs squad with 4 plasma guns and 1 plasma pistol. First time I used the squad in a game and the first time they fired in that game the entire squad killed itself thanks to gets hot failures of epic proportions. Every time I use the unit at least half of it is gone by the end of the game due to gets hot failures.

The other was in 2nd edition space marine in a massive 6k points a side battle. My side, chaos, had 4 units of 3 cannon of khorne each. When it fired the cannon of khorne rolled the old artillery die to determine the strength of its weapon (2,4,6,8,10 or misfire). When a misfire was rolled the cannon blew itself up. First turn of the game our artillery decides to 'unleash hell'. Begins rolling the artillery die...first unit: Misfire, Misfire, Misfire. second unit Misfire, 2, Misfire. Third unit: Misfire, 2,2. Fourth unit: Misfire, Misfire, Misfire. So at the end we went from 4 units of 3 cannon each to 2 units 1 with a single cannon and the other with 2. 9 lost in one turn and zero damage done because S2 never did anything useful. We had to stop the game for half an hour because we all couldn't stop laughing about the insanity of it.

Another one of my unlucky rolls went as follows, in my last game:

Big Mek With Shokk Attack Gun: Rolled a (4,4) Rerolled 3 times on the mishap table, unaware I was not supposed to. Got a {( ,3), (4,2), ( , )}

And my weirdboy was killed by Genestealers.

I had a Dark Angels Master with the Lion's Roar and artificer armor. I roll a 1 for Gets Hot, reroll because it's master crafted, and get another 1. Cue a third 1 in a row for the armor save. The game kept up that level of frustrating rolling for both me and my opponent.

My warboss and his meganobz were run down and killed in close combat by fire warriors after the orks fudged every single powerklaw attack, fail a 2+ armour save which killed a meganob, fail their leadership check, fail their mob rule, fail their mob rule again, and then get swept.

This was pretty much par for the course for him considering that this is a warboss that has failed to kill anything important in close combat. He may have once killed some Imperial Fists. That warboss has a special spot of shame in my collection.

Green Tide that moved a total of 4 inches on the WAAAGH turn 2. I rolled through difficult and got to move 2 inches. I rolled one inch for the charge. I declared a multicharge and needed a 7 to get all three targets and be at the opponents frontline. I rolled 2 2s and rerolled one to a 1... So a 1 inch charge through difficult terrain. The tide killed those ratlings and proceeded to take so many casualties from the artillery in the following turns that it lost ground even with half decent move and run rolls.

It was a year ago, CSM vs. Marines, my friend unloads on my assault terminators with a group of 10 cultists. 5 Hits. 5 Wounds. 5 failed 2+ saves. The entire group of veteran marines was taken down by auto pistols...

Just the other day, I was playing a fluffy fun Dark Angels list against a friend's Orks. Ezekiel, my warlord, was with a tactical squad, and they got charged by a mob of Boyz led by none other than Ghazkull Thraka. Overwatch kills two Boyz, then they get into combat. Ghaz challenges, and I'm like "what the hell, Zeke's gonna die anyway", so I put in Ezekiel. He whiffs his attacks against Ghaz. Worse, even though Zeke's ability gives his unit +1 attacks, the tac squad misses all but three of them (out of 11), then fails to wound with any of those. Ezekiel and his unit went out with a whimper that day...
The consolation was that I won the game on points, but only because we ran out of time (the store was getting ready to close).

2nd ed, snotlings killed my wolguard. I'll never forget it.

3rd .... My de archon in a squad of incubi, (1st turn he he OD on drugs and takes 2 wounds. ) next turn aboard a raider. It goes boom and the guys get out, each of the incubi fail the 3+. Leaving archon by hisself. He proceeds to get shot st by EVERYTHING else. Takes lazcannons, plasma, everything like a champ untill the last model - firing a Laz pistol. 6 to hit. 6 to wound. 1 to save. Dead archon.

I've never once passed Cypher's old 3++ on 4D6 save. Including when allowed to re-roll it.

I lost a riptide to one guard unit with plasma guns. Think he did 6 wounds, failed all 6 3+ invuns and did not make a single FnP.

Also lost 5 jinking white scars bikes with night fight to 6 wounds. 5 ones.

Also had a unit of work bikers run over 2 pieces of rough terrain to assault some termites. Started with 10 ended with five, including the nob who rolled one, then failed a four up save, then five up FnP twice.

In fact I think I'm going to go buy a dice tower.

I would've won my first game ever in points if the game didn't go to turn 7. It was Necrons vs Eldar.

Just a week ago it was my Tau against my friends new ad mech force it was a small 500 point game.So turn 5 only things left on table for me are a unit of kroot ,pathfinders and commander with MSS against to units of vanguard with warlord alpha commander joins kroot unit to give twin-linked then pathfinders marker vanguard unit with alpha get 2 markerlights.So now I have BS 5 twin-linked kroot AT rapidfire range.But guess what 1 vanguard died from that entire volley of shots....wow.

So yesterday 1000 point game vs Orks for my local GW's 1000 point challenge. I rolled maelstrom of torment as my warlord trait on my biker lord. So turn 2 I charge his Warbosses unit of boys (from what I remember there's my lord and 3 bikes left) between the Lord and bikers attacks a warboss a nob + like 8 Boyz was reduced to just the warboss who killed one bike with his big choppa he then ran and got ran down. His turn 2 He charges a full 30 man mob into me he fails his fear test and between the challenge my lord declared and the one remaining bikes attacks (I lost one in his shooting phase) he lost 5 Orks. I lost 1 bike he failed the break test he failed his mob rule I ran him down. My lord then went onto run down some lootas in turn 3. At the end of my turn 3 he called it due to only having some burner boys in reserve. I felt so bad lol
