Elmir, those look awesome. Very Game of Thrones/White Walker-like imo, very cool.

As a follow-up to my last Stormcast, one of the new ones, from the Easy To Build Sequitor kit. I swapped the head out for an elf one as the original was hard to get to, other than that the model is stock.

It took a few attempts to get the colour balances right as the robes kind of require an additional colour on top of whatever you normally need for a good Stormcast scheme (usually 2 colours and a metallic, I find) but I think keeping the outer/upper robes a neutral colour is the way to go there. I will be experimenting with the other two in the set in different schemes, should have another one done soon.

I would also be very interested in what colors you used especially the blues as I was planning a winter theme for my own Legion of Nagash and Nighthaunts.

Sequitor 2, this one in a much gritter, more battered style to play up the inhuman, immortal, eternal side of the Stormcast, facing endless aeons fighting the enemy with only death as a temporary reprieve...

The cloaks start with rinox hide, get a gorthor brown drybrush and a fine vallejo cork brown highlight. It gets a black wash afterwards to bring it to a more dark tone.

The blue is done using Baharoth blue, white airbrushed over it, guilliman blue glaze (thinned) and final highlights with white again.

Can anyone guess what list tweaks I've put together following AoS 2.0? Excited for the AoS GT final in October now.

Thanks abunch! That will save me a ton of time trying to come up with good icy colors to use on my night haunt units!

I've got my own projects in the works. Finally sitting down and converting up my own Deathrattle forces for a Deathmarch Battalion. 40 skellies down, 20 more to go, plus 20 graveguard, and ten black knights.

I 'spect someone's already asked, but how long does it tend to take to get a model done in that paint scheme?

Still slowly plodding through my Chaos stuff, currently 70% done on my last five Wrathmongers, but I really want to get cracking on Slaanesh stuff for the fall release I'm still hopeful for. The workbench includes:
2 Exalted Chariots
1 Custom Daemon Prince (Azazel)
10 Daemonettes
4 Chariots
15 Seekers

2 Hellflayers done
5 Hellstriders done
1 Custom KoS done

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Working on the endless spells as well and I'm trying to add them to certain sub-faction themes of my undead force:

I used a lighter to bend the soulsnare shackles out of the straight line they are cast in... Creates a bit more chaos in the model.

Just opened the starter set!

That's right! The old starter set, after it sitting in my bookshelf for 2 years.

Have told myself I must paint atleast the stormcast side of it before I am allowed to buy soul wars.

So trying to figure out a bare minimum effort scheme I can be happy with. I don't like how an overall wash makes the gold so dark, and going over the whole armor with gold to touch up takes too much damn effort, same with doing pin shading.
So this is what I get with a bare minimum basecoat scheme with only putting some effort on the blue color.

Its hard to look past the toyish feel:( Might go with the GW way in the end and do an overall wash, we will see...

And Elmir, holy wow, what an inspiration!!!

Use the gloss versions of the washes. Much more subtle tonal shifts and keeps the nice shine for your armour!
