Finally got the base for the Tomb Banshee finished up, don't think I've ever spent this long working on a base before.
I'm really happy with the end result though, something which is kinda rare when it come to me and painting.

Here she is, click the picture to be able to zoom in if you feel like it.

Also got some WIP Dire Wolves in the making as I absolutely despise the GW ones...

Really nice, the warm colors really pop!

Managed to get the last of the Slaaneshi and Undead models I needed for our next game done.

For the Undead, a Zombie Dragon and Coven Throne...

... which allows me to finish off the Blood Court of Neferata (a Battalion Warscroll):

This thread is awesome. Been reading your blog MongooseMatt and it's one of the reasons for inspiring me to jump into AoS, so thank you.

Anyways here's the start of my Stormcast army, haven't thought of a name for them yet though. I'll be posting some more stuff on my blog in the future.

Simple yet effective basing, how are you making them?

I put sand on before undercoating then from black it's a basecoat of mournfang brown, drybrush of steel legion drab, light drybrush of tyrant skull, some static grass and some of GW's middenheim tufts ( I think that's what they're called). Some of the larger rocks I just did black and drybrushed tones of grey.

I'm going to use the same basing for all my units and factions, so I wanted something simple that could be easily replicated and would match my gaming mat/table.

Nice Moonclan Dex! I like the blue instead of yellow. That said, the show-stealer is the squig's eyeball, that looks awesome! Can you take a zoom-in on just him?

oooh you got the blue (the only one i'm missing )

Your going to love these colours. one word of advice, laydown a coat of white on the section you want these colours to work. Also make sure you seal them with a varnish otherwise they do chip off easier.

Im actually in the process to find other colours and doing some research into dayglow pigments. If i find something useful, i'll be sure to pass it on!

Try putting a white piece of paper in the back ground. This way the camera will auto focus on the mini instead of what is behind it.

@Curry: Cool stuff as always mate- just one bit of critique though- IMO the Ogroid could do with some paint on the eyes..

@angelofvengeance
I have done the eyes but for some reason my phone camera seems to darken them right down. Its the same on my slaanesh lord! I will try and tinker with the way i shoot the photos to see if i can get them to show.

That's odd. Maybe take pics in a white background instead? I don't mean using the base of your lamp lol.
There's a link in my sig that should give you a few nice pointers!
