Shield/Mirror Bearers are built:
Sigvald the Magnificent leads his Slanneshi Chosen with Greataxes into battle!
... However as the enemy begins their charge, Sigvald wants to make sure his hair is just right, and 5 of the mirror-bearer Chosen immediately discard their weapons so that Sigvald may bask in his marvelous perfection and beauty as the slaughter begins around them.

That is an awesome concept, should look great painted up! How are you going to do the shields? Are you going to paint them or use some sort of mirror/chrome paper?
@angel of vengeance
There was no link or signature in your last post but i think i get your meaning. I'll do some googling. A light box might also be in order, but thats further down the track.

OMG. That Dark Elf dude in Silver Tower is a pain in the arse. Broke his chest piece trying to take it off. I thought I was careful then I noticed I broke the end off. Argh. I hope this is the hardest one to put together.

Haven't been idle myself! Finally managed to get round to doing the 'forces of the Everchosen', some Slaves to Darkness who have properly allied (proved?) themselves to Archaon.
Quite like the Chaos Knights running around as mini-Varanguard.
And I really like the pose on this Exalted Hero...

Renedra plastic bases, 40 are about £2.50, which is cheap as you'll get. Good quality as well.

Did a test. I think paint looks fine, its runefang steel with some washing for the ground, maybe I can try to put some blue for a reflective sky as well.

Thanks very much
Spahammer in Cheltenham,1 day/3 game tourney using SCGT. Came third,my final opponent just managed to beat me in last turn :(
I didn't expect to do all that well as I don't really have any buffs/synergies or formations so nearly winning and ending up 3rd is ok

Wow congratulations man! I played 2 warchiefs at the Bristol Smash (Mike and Carl) and they had invited me to this, but I couldn't make it due to the train times. You were so close to winning that Get Started set then!? Hopefully we'll bump into each other at a future event :-)

Well, mostly - still got three heroes to do, but with the app I have more than enough variation to be getting on with.

More Stormcast goodness!
My Celestial Vindicators are coming along. I have a unit of Retributors, a Lord Relictor, and a Lord Celestant (converted from a spare Relictor) to show off.
The characters are, naturally, blurry. Sorry, but I am by no means a professional photographer, and all I have to shoot pictures with are a phone and a tablet.
There are more minis on the way. I just started on a Knight Heraldor, and I'm beefing a unit of Liberators from five to ten.
|
"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage |
