Got a bit done for him. Now just need to finish the two weapons on his back.

Here Bottle, is the pics. Not sure if this is what you asked for.

Going to start a Khorne army for this, going for a simple quick to do paintjob that looks "good enough" for tabletop. Currently the scheme decided on is this:

I really don't like painting red or doing trim.

So close to the Murderfist Tribe or the Iron Horde. Wouldn't take much to make it into one of those, if you cared to follow any of the existing factions.

That being said, I love those eyes! They look like tiny LEDs.

I love that Khorne color scheme, unique but still very Khorne.

Also, nice hellstriders!

Finished off a Daemon Prince of Nurgle this week. I wanted something a bit different from the usual plastic kit (already have a couple of those for other forces of Chaos), so went with the Horius Heresy model from Forge World.

Incidentally, this model is dead easy (and quick!) to paint, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a variant Daemon Prince for their Nurgle force.

Oh, and for Age of Sigmar - just double its Wounds and wound brackets to reflect its size and Nurgleness (we do the same thing for the Forge World Great Unclean One).

Mongoose, you did a fine job painting it... but man... that sculpt. So bad. I think that is my least fav FW model to date.

Haha my god, isn't it... Looks like something I could make out of clay! With that said the paint job redeems the awful model, great job Matt!

Loving everyone's work, it all looks so damn nice. Liking the colour scheme ledha, and always a fan of anything Orc related. Son of sigvald. Loving the fellas you have there. And Mongoose can't believe that's actually a forgeworld model... bleugh

Did a little work on the Orcternals myself. My Errant Questor

My latest project is to build up a collection of terrain. I started with an MDF building kit that I painted up as a small house for my Freeguild. It was only £8 (plus a few Empire bitz). I took an atmospheric photo of my minis fighting around it:

I hope to add to this and create a small town/village.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

I love the color gradient on your Fyreslayer! Seeing these paint jobs close-up really shows the quality, good work!

Oh yeah there's some terrain in the background, I guess...

I saw this, I head downstairs to do some modelling, and now I can't find my brushes. I think they are hiding. I wonder why.

Finished up my squad of Black Knights, I've since replaced the bases so they look less amateurish. Excited to take them into combat hopefully this weekend.

Also got half my Grave Guard unit painted, need to throw some shade on to give them the decayed look.

Thanks Bottle, means a lot. I was only kidding, you just inspire me now to keep going. While I may not be anywhere close to you or others skills, I will not quit no more and just keep pushing.

Still like to joke now and then though.

Finally made my first custom base. He looks a bit to light, not sure if I should try and darken the coat otherwise might ruin it.

@Davor it's looking great! I would neaten the base edge with a coat of black paint, and on the skin take Reikland Fleshwash, a detail/layer brush and just paint it in any deep recesses, like the cracks in the fingers and the tops of the finger nails. It should really add some depth to the skin of the model.

There is a battle coming up in Godbeasts that pits a Warherd against the Devoted of Sigmar - so I got some Ghorgons and some more Bullgors done!

And the first of the Warrior Priests:

Thanks Bottle for the advice. I don't have Reikland Fleshwash, so will have to buy some. I totally forgot to do the base. Dang, not done as I thought I was.

Also got Mr Rotspawned done as well. Rather pleased with this one, and the Maggoth was a cinch to do.
