Ace dragon conversion to be sure, looks way better than the actual stormcast dragon IMO.

So for the LONGEST time I have loved Nurgle fluff. I finally started a Nurgle AoS army because I LOVE the blightking models and kit. I decided to model them as if if was sufficient decaying/rotting organic matter and moisture (mmmm!) to support germination of passing seeds.. so I grabbed some sylvanth bits and my novice greenstuff skills. Here is a link to an imgur album I made of the first few! I have done about 6 or 7 more. Each one is better looking then the last with a better "transition area" and better placement.
The last two pictures are a count as rotbringer sorcerer that I kitbashed from Gutrot Spume model and blightkings bits. He needs to be more careful with his magic!!

I will post some more pictures when I get home. Cant wait to paint these guys up!

Cheers for the comments guys. Still slowly making progress on the Aeloran Guard (Fire elf war clan) project. Slowed down a little bit due to having been ill but still going.

You, Sir, have remarkable talent!
This is pure eye-candy, from base to model.

Really great job adding to their..."uniqueness".
Can't wait to see what you do with their paint-job. Gonna stick to green and mucus goodness or try exotic and colorful epidemics?
Not much on my end for a post, just had a quick idea to draw some musketeers for AoS.

Wow, just freaking wow. Love the bases Melcavuk. I am going to have to take Matt's "internet of the day" and give it to you today.
As for me, I am finally modelling a new mini. I am working on the Lord of Change. I had it like for years, finally took it out of the box, and trying it out as a practice run and hoping to get the new Lord of Change when it comes out next week.

Looks awesome! I know from experience that GS nurgle infestations look AWESOME when painted. Here's one of my older conversions
I made my own Gloss shade for this one, and most off the colour is different shades layered over each other (I was trying to match the iridescent sheen my Chaos Lord has, alas, i probably never will). He was first painted completely with Kislev Flesh, in case you couldn't tell.
Good luck on those Rotbringers!

That's kinda sorta what I'm planning to do with my Sylvaneth army. It's going to be a lot of kitbashes between the plant people and Death units. A sort of situation where there wasn't enough plant matter to go around and the land wasn't suitable for it. But life finds a way.

Neat! Like a sterile landscape that still was enough tree magic to form a force, albeit one where some of the force is made out of dead warriors infused with tree magic. What a neat idea. Could do like a desert theme. I'm thinking oasis type where there is some organic matter but mostly sterile landscape! Thats super cool!!!
Please excuse my tree magic wording. I know very little about sylvaneth lore.. even though I'm an arborist by profession o_O

You are one of the best painters I have seen on here, but... that cork is a bit too flat and "cork-like" for your Golden Daemon-level of painting IMHO.
The base rims are brave, but they work really well as the miniature's colors are quite subdued and thus don't clash with the vibrant bases.

Cheers! It is indeed, freehand shields are one of my favourite things to paint and the stormcasts have really great big panels on them to put cool oldschool designs on.
